GAINESVILLE, Fla. — After nine weeks of football have been put into the books, the FHSAA on Tuesday afternoon updated the playoff points system averages heading into Week 10. As such it has brought another week of changes.
This week in Classes 5A-8A, district records were taken into account to determine a projection for the playoffs.
The averages are compiled using total points so far for games played to date plus any bonus points, divided by the total games played.
Down below you will see eight links (one for each classification) that breaks down the point averages for each region and district, plus projected seedings based upon the current averages.
The most important thing to remember that this will change each and every week through the end of the season.
NOTE: Coaches should always check with the FHSAA to make sure things are correct on their team schedule. They can click here to access the master schedules for each classification on the FHSAA Football home page.
