Three weeks have now come and gone in this 2020 season in the era of COVID-19 and we got our biggest list yet of top performances from across the state in 11-man and 8-man football. Check out who made the list of FloridaHSFootball.com’s Statewide Top Performance for Week 3.

DB James Williams, American Heritage (Plantation) – Had a huge game in his debut for the Patriots collecting two sacks and had eight tackles with three tackles for a loss in a 7-3 win over Chaminade-Madonna.
DB Daemon Fagan, American Heritage (Plantation) – Had a game-sealing interception, plus stopped Chaminade-Madonna’s Thaddius Franklin from scoring a touchdown in the Patriots’ 7-3 win over Chaminade-Madonna.
QB Carson Crawford, Baker County – Went 7-of-10 for 144 yards and had 10 carries for 92 yards scoring five total touchdowns (three rushing, two passing) in the Wildcats’ 47-0 thumping of Ed White.
QB Bryce Tompkins, Baldwin – Went 20-of-37 passing for 244 yards and three touchdowns for the Indians in their thrilling 36-31 win over West Nassau.
DB Tyson McClendon, Baldwin – Collected two sacks, one forced fumble, and had five tackles in the Indians’ 36-31 win over West Nassau.

QB Dylan McNamara, Barron Collier – Threw for three touchdown passes for the Cougars in their 35-13 win over Bonita Springs to open the season.
SAF Kevin Weemhoff, Bartram Trail – The junior sealed a 26-13 win for the Bears with a 96-yard pick-six against Mandarin.
K David Kemp, Bartram Trail – Kicked two fields goals from 51 and 48 yards in leading the Bears to a 26-13 win over Mandarin.
QB Adrian Miller III, Bishop McLaughlin – The junior quarterback had 306 yards of total offense (168 rushing, 138 passing) and had two total touchdowns in a 37-8 win over Bronson.
QB Luke Hedrick, Bishop Moore – The senior quarterback went 27-of-49 passing for 335 yards and three touchdowns in the Hornets’ close 32-26 loss to Jones in their season opener.
RB Kade Frew, Bolles – Frew rushed for 210 yards and three touchdowns in the Bulldogs 40-23 win on the road at St. Augustine.

LB Mack Marrone, Bolles – The senior linebacker had a huge night on defense against St. Augustine collecting 12 tackles and blocking one punt for the Bulldogs’ 40-23 win.
DB Avery Epstein, Bolles – Collected up nine tackles with one tackle for loss and broke up two passes for the Bulldogs in their 40-23 win at St. Augustine.
ATH Caden Fordham, Bolles – Had nine tackles, forced a fumble, scored two rushing touchdowns with 61 yards rushing, and placed four punts inside the 20-yard line in the Bulldogs’ 40-23 win over St. Augustine.
QB Chris Stephenson, Cambridge Christian – Went 20-of-25 passing for 328 yards and two touchdowns and had a rushing touchdown as well in the Lancers’ 24-6 win over Trenton.
LB Noah Kent, Cambridge Christian – Had 13 total tackles, three tackles for loss, and two fumble recoveries for the Lancers in their 24-6 win at Trenton.
RB Kay’juan Maduka, Cedar Creek Christian – Accounted for 195 yards rushing and two touchdowns in the Saints’ 20-6 victory over Bishop Snyder.
QB John Busha, Charlotte – Accounted for 349 total yards of offense (168 passing, 181 rushing) rushing for three touchdowns and passing for two more touchdowns in the Tarpons’ 35-21 win over Braden River.
RB Brendon Barrow, Clearwater Academy – Rushed for 221 yards and three touchdowns in a close 31-28 loss at Mosley.
OLB/SS Carson Schiavello, Clearwater Central Catholic – Had 14 tackles, two and a half tackles for loss, one sack, and three pass breakups including a tackle for loss in the Marauders 14-7 win over Wiregrass Ranch.
QB Gabe Olds, Countryside – Went 12-of-19 passing for 187 yards and two passing touchdowns plus had eight carries for 79 yards and two more touchdowns in the Cougars’ 42-9 win over Osceola (Seminole).
RB Preston Strope, Creekside – Rushed for 154 yards on 30 carries, scoring four touchdowns for the Knights in their 35-0 shutout victory over First Coast.
QB J.D. Sherrod, Cypress Lake – The sophomore quarterback threw for two touchdowns and ran for another in his debut in as the Panthers won their season opener 50-0 over Cape Coral.
QB Daveon Palmer, Dunbar – Threw for three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 58-0 blowout win over East Lee County.
RB Chris Parks, Flagler Palm Coast – In the season opener Parks scored three times carrying the ball 14 times for 165 yards for the Bulldogs in their 38-0 shut out over rival Matanzas in the Potato Bowl.

Christ’s Church Academy Defense – Head coach Jim Stomps sent us this nomination as the held Deltona Trinity Christian to 56 total yards of offense in a 6-0 win that included multiple sacks and interceptions to stay undefeated on the season.
QB Andrew Acebal, Father Lopez – Went 16-of-25 passing for 246 yards and two touchdowns in the Green Wave’s 28-13 loss to New Smyrna Beach.
RB Myles Montgomery, Fletcher – Had 168 yards rushing on 26 carries and found the endzone three times in a close 28-20 loss to Fleming Island.
QB Maurice J. Smith, Jr., Fort Pierce Westwood – Went 16-of-24 passing for 327 yards and scored three total touchdowns (two rushing, one passing) in the Panthers’ 49-0 win over Fort Pierce Central in Showdown 41.

RB Isaac Depena, Gateway Charter – Rushed for 137 yards and two touchdowns in the Griffins’ 27-19 loss to St. John Neumann.
QB Jarrett Reddin, Halifax Academy – Scored seven total touchdowns with five passing touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns in the Knights’ barnburner 48-46 win over Ocala Christian.
DE Javari Smith, Hamilton County – The sophomore had a huge game racking 20 tackles and a sack in the Trojans’ 28-20 win over Wewahitchka.
ATH Zach Malpica, Ida Baker – Had an all-around game for the Bulldogs in their season opener against Mariner, racking up 14 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery, and scored three touchdowns on offense in a 25-3 win.

QB Reggie Allen Jr., Interlachen – The sophomore quarterback went 8-of-15 passing for 181 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams’ 46-13 win over Parrish Community.
QB Joe Pesansky, Jesuit – Went 9-of-17 passing for 162 yards and three touchdowns and had three carries for 21 yards and another touchdown in the Tigers’ 4-0 win over Sarasota Booker.
QB Daquan Harris, Jones – Rushed 16 times for 176 yards and scoring three touchdowns in the Tigers’ 32-26 win over Bishop Moore to open the season.
QB Shadarian Harrison, Kathleen – Went 12-of-19 passing for 172 yards and two touchdowns in the Red Devils’ 41-13 victory over Strawberry Crest.
RB/DB Colton Tibbets, Keystone Heights – The senior slotback and defensive back torched Providence on both sides the ball with eight carries for 156 yards and two touchdowns on offense as well as two interceptions and six tackles on defense in the Indians’ 39-7 road victory.
QB Will Prichard, The King’s Academy – Went 17-of-30 for 221 yards passing tossing three touchdown passes in the Lions’ 41-20 win over Glades Day.
DB Jackson Worley, The King’s Academy – The sophomore had two sacks and five tackles including three tackles for loss in the Lions’ 41-20 win over Glades Day.
RB Jaylon Gallegos, LaBelle – Had 33 carries for 211 yards and two touchdowns as the Cowboys pulled out a 13-12 win over Estero to spoil their season opener.
ATH Mario Thomas, Lafayette – In only his second start for the Hornets, the junior quarterback was 5-of-7 passing for 138 yards and four touchdowns while adding 58 yards on 12 carries on the ground in the Hornets’ 41-8 win over St. Joseph.
QB Jaylon Glover, Lake Gibson – Dominated Auburndale with 303 yards of offense (231 rushing, 72 passing) and throwing two touchdown passes and rushing for two more in the Braves’ 34-6 win.
RB Joshua Burley, Lake Wales – Had 17 carries for 206 yards and two touchdowns in the Highlanders’ 36-28 season-opening win at Ridge Community.
Lakewood Defense – The Spartans defense forced nine turnovers in their 40-6 win over Boca Ciega.
QB Cale Zarah, Lee – Went 15-of-27 passing for 201 yards and three touchdowns as well as a two-point conversion in the Generals’ 26-18 win over Ribault.

RB Jason Hogan, Lemon Bay – Had 205 yards rushing and two touchdowns including a 91-yard touchdown run in the Manta Rays’ 49-7 thrashing of Oasis.
QB Jayse Berzowski, Manatee – Led a comeback for the Hurricanes in their 32-27 win over Plant City going 22-of-33 passing for 215 yards and three touchdowns.
WR/RB Irone Jackson, Manatee – Caught all three touchdown passes for the Hurricanes in their 32-27 comeback win over Plant City.
LB Nic Mitchell, Mandarin – The senior linebacker collected three sacks on the night in a 26-13 loss against Bartram Trail.
Mosley Defense – The Dolphins defense forced four turnovers between fumbles and interceptions that led to points in a 31-28 thrilling victory over Clearwater Academy to open the season.
QB Ty’quan Wiggins, Mount Dora Christian – Went of 8-of-14 passing for 152 yards and two touchdowns while also having four carries for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Bulldogs’ 28-14 win over Orangewood Christian.
WR Reginald Virgil, Mount Dora Christian – Had seven catches for 126 yards and two touchdowns for the Bulldogs in their 28-14 win over Orangewood Christian.
DL Sean Roberts, New Smyrna Beach – Roberts had an impressive game in the season opener collecting three sacks, eight tackles with five tackles for loss in the Barracudas’ 28-13 win over Father Lopez.
QB Trey Wainwright, Niceville – Went 11-of-14 passing for 126 yards and one touchdown in the Eagles’ 56-0 win over Choctawhatchee.
RB Micah Turner, Niceville – Had eight carries for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 56-0 win over Choctawhatchee.
RB/DB Dramarian “Juice” McNulty, Niceville – Had three carries for 90 yards and a touchdown, one reception for 18 yards, and had one punt return for the Eagles in their 56-0 win over Choctawhatchee.
RB Nate Webb, North Bay Haven – Had 200 yards rushing and three touchdowns for the Buccaneers in their 35-34 win over Northside Methodist out of Alabama.
ATH Jacquez Hughes, Palmetto – Had 110 all-purpose yards, four tackles, returned two kickoffs for 110 yards including one for an 82-yard touchdown return in the Tigers’ 43-7 win over Port Charlotte.
RB Sagel Hickson, Palmetto – Accounted for 145 total yards of offense (106 rushing, 39 receiving) and scored two total touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) in the Tigers 43-7 win over Port Charlotte.
LB Jaylen Wester, Palmetto – Had 18 total tackles, two tackles for loss, and blocked a punt for the Tigers in their 43-7 win over Port Charlotte.
Palmetto Ridge Defense – The Bears defense posted the first shutout on Naples in 14 years and becoming the first Collier County team to defeat the Golden Eagles in seven years, forcing turnovers that led to 31 of the 38 points in the 38-0 win.
QB Cobi Myers, Ponte Vedra – In only one half of play, Myers was a perfect 10-for-10 for 187 yards and three touchdowns in the Sharks’ 42-0 blowout over Palatka.
QB Colin Amison, Port St. Joe – Went 13-of-23 passing for 244 yards and threw for four touchdowns in the Tigers Sharks’ come from behind 50-49 win over South Walton.
WR Nick Jefferson, Port St. Joe – Had four receptions for 102 yards and scored two touchdowns for the Tigers Sharks’ 50-49 thrilling win over South Walton.
QB Zachary Pleuss, Ridge Community – The sophomore quarterback had an impressive game going 26-of-42 passing for 388 yards and tossing three touchdowns in the Bolts’ close 36-28 loss to Lake Wales.
WR Keymari Odum, Ridge Community – Had seven catches for an impressive 201 yards receiving and three touchdowns in the Bolts’ close 36-28 loss to Lake Wales.
RB Beau Herrington, Ridge Community – Had 248 all-purpose yards and scored a touchdown for the Bolts in their 36-28 loss to Lake Wales.
QB Ty McNeal, Sandalwood – Accounted for 167 total yards of offense (85 passing, 82 rushing), but made the most of with four total touchdowns (two passing, two rushing) plus converted a two-point conversion in the Saints’ 35-0 blowout of Nease.
QB Sammy Edwards, St. Augustine – Threw for 263 yards and three touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets’ 40-23 loss to Bolles.

WR Ty Baxter, St. Augustine – Had seven catches for 110 yards receiving and scored two touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets’ 40-23 loss to Bolles.
QB Michael Joyce, St. John Neumann – Had 151 yards rushing and two touchdowns plus a passing touchdown in the Celtics’ 27-19 win over Gateway Charter.
DB Dimitri Campbell, Seabreeze – Had three interceptions, including one returned for a pick-six in the Sandcrabs’ 30-8 win over Deltona to open the season.
DB Jonathan Brown, Seminole (Seminole) – Had four tackles and two interceptions in the Warhawks’ 28-6 win over Dunedin.
RB Deon Silas, Steinbrenner – Had an impressive game in a 56-7 win against Alonso carrying the ball 11 times for 200 yards and scoring five touchdowns on the ground. Also had three catches for 55 yards.
RB Nathan Castor, South Fort Myers – The junior running back rushed for 202 yards and found the endzone twice for the Wolfpack in their 43-8 season-opening win over Riverdale.
QB Kemper Hodges, South Walton – Threw for 464 yards and accounted for six total touchdowns for the Seahawks in a heartbreaking 50-49 loss to Port St. Joe.
WR Cade Roberts, South Walton – Had 16 catches for 234 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks’ heartbreaking 50-49 loss to Port St. Joe.

QB Roman Doles, Terry Parker – The sophomore quarterback was 12-of-18 passing for 408 yards and two touchdowns in the Braves’ 41-22 win over Bishop Kenny.
SAF Chris Victor, Terry Parker – Made a living in Bishop Kenny’s backfield in Week 3 collecting up five sacks and had a fumble recovery to go along with 10 total tackles in the Braves’ 41-22 win.
WR Daniel Shaw, Terry Parker – The senior receiver made his name noticed on the stat sheet with just five catches for 210 yards with two of those catches resulting in touchdowns in the Braves’ 41-22 win over Bishop Kenny.
DB Damani Dent, Terry Parker – Collected 10 tackles and an interception in the Braves’ 41-22 win over Bishop Kenny.

RB Adrian Florez, Timber Creek – The amount of yardage might have been low (79 yards) with only eight carries, but Florez made it worth it with three of those carries being turned into touchdowns in the Wolves’ 42-3 win over Hagerty to open the season.
QB Turk Watkins, Treasure Coast – Went 7-of-8 passing for 156 yards and scored two touchdowns on the ground for the Titans in their 54-13 win over South Fork.
RB Jamarian Samuel, Trinity Catholic – The senior back racked up 225 yards rushing on 25 carries and had four total touchdowns in the Celtics 48-31 season opening over South Sumter.
QB Markus Hammack, Vernon – Went 11-of-21 passing for 203 yards and four touchdowns in the Yellowjackets’ 40-0 win over rival Chipley.
RB Cornelius Shaw, Victory Christian – Had 15 carries for 141 yards rushing and scored two touchdowns for the Storm in their 28-0 win at Fort Meade.
WR Chaz Davis, West Nassau – Had nine catches for 144 yards and two touchdowns as well as 41 yards rushing in the Warriors’ close 36-31 loss at Baldwin.
RB Micah Lewis, Westminster Academy – Carried the ball 15 times for 235 yards and scored three touchdowns in the Lions’ 39-15 win over Boca Raton Christian.
QB Junior Muratovic, Wekiva – Threw for only 101 yards, but was an efficient 6-of-10 passing with three of the completions coming in the form of touchdowns in the Mustangs 46-7 win over East River.
LB Johnny Chaney, Wekiva – Collected two sacks and had two tackles for loss in the Mustangs, 46-7 win over East River.
QB Nate Mikell, Wildwood – Went 11-of-18 for 223 yards passing and threw for five touchdowns in just one half of play in a 62-6 win over Crescent City.
