ALL-STATE FOOTBALL: 2024 SSAA All-State Football Award Winners

It is time to honor the best of the best among our All-State Honorees with our All-State Awards Selections. With the selections we have five award winners with Overall Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Specialist of the Year, and Coach of the Year.

While it is hard to just pick just one selection. All the athletes and coaches considered for each of the selections are very deserving of the honors.

Without further ado, here is winners for the 2024 FloridaHSFootball.com All-State Team Awards for the Sunshine State Athletic Association and congratulations to all of the winners!

SSAA OVERALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR

QB Jackson Stecher, The Master’s Academy (Oviedo), Fr.

Leading the Eagles to their second straight SSAA State Championship, Stecher grew significantly after starting as an eighth grader, throwing 2,666 yards and 38 touchdowns against just two interceptions. Stecher also added 318 yards rushing on 23 carries, along with two more touchdowns.

SSAA OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Qb Jayden Miller, NSU University School (Fort Lauderdale), So.

Helping guide NSU University School to an SSAA State Runner-up finish, Miller did so with 2,726 yards passing with 20 touchdowns against six interceptions while adding 202 yards rushing on 57 carries and three touchdowns on the ground.

SSAA DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

DL Justice Martin, NSU University School (Fort Lauderdale), Sr.

Racking up sacks during the season, Martin was a leader in the trenches with 15 sacks and 23 quarterback hurries, along with racking up 85 tackles, which was fourth-best on the team. Martin also accounted for 21 tackles for loss, the most by any athlete on the team, while guiding the Sharks to an SSAA State Runner-up finish.

SSAA SPECIALIST OF THE YEAR

K Gaston Gramatica, Cambridge Christian (Tampa), Jr.

While the season might have been a struggle for Cambridge Christian, Gramatica was on his game in the special teams department with a perfect conversion rate on PATs with 23-of-23 on the season and was 13-of-19 on field goals, with his longest coming from 55 yards out. Gramatica also carried a 37.1 yard average on punting and is considered one of the top kicking prospects in the 2026 class.

SSAA COACH OF THE YEAR

Garrett Kruczek, The Master’s Academy (Oviedo)

Kruczek led the Eagles to their second straight SSAA State Championship in 2024, putting The Master’s Academy on the map as one of the top small schools outside of the FHSAA with an 11-1 overall record.
