Welcome to the first of what many Flag Football Finals for the 2025 Girls Flag Football Season in Florida.
Each Flag Football Final will provide you scores from around the state on games played along with extended recaps on some of the top games and highlight top performances each day. Usually these articles will run the next day on most days each week during the season. Sometimes you might see scores from several days ago that have finally been reported and we will make sure those are reported if and when we find them.

FLORIDA TOP 25
No. 24 Steinbrenner (Lutz) 33, Osceola (Seminole) 0
Sophomore athlete KK Ramsey lit up the scoreboard going 15-of-22 passing for 171 yards and two touchdowns while adding two more touchdowns on the ground to lead the road Warriors to a victory over the host Warriors. Berkeley Demeter and Sienna Neylan each had receiving touchdowns for Steinbrenner while rusher Kathryn Williams recorded three sacks and three flag pulls who became the all-time sack leader in Steinbrenner program history with 53 sacks. Ramsey recorded three flag pulls and an interception on defense.

No. 4 Tampa Catholic 48, Seffner Christian 0
Ava Kopp went 16-of-22 passing for 206 yards and four touchdowns while adding 50 yards rushing and another score in leading the Crusaders to a massive opening night victory. Izzy Rein was the top receiving target for Kopp with six catches for 107 yards and a touchdown. Rein had four extra points while Kopp had one extra point. Rein also had three punt returns one of which was returned for a touchdown. Samantha Dobson recorded a pick six for the Crusaders.

Countryside (Clearwater) 27, Indian Rocks Christian (Largo) 0
Rundown: The Cougars trounced the host Eagles thanks to a combination effort from quarterbacks Jannon Welch and Julia Smith who each threw for a touchdown. Welch also added one rushing touchdown while Ava Jones recorded two sacks and two flag pulls for Countryside to open up the season with a victory.
Ridgeview Global Studies (Davenport) 16, Faith Christian (Orlando) 0
Rundown: The Explorers went up I-4 to Orlando and took care of business against the host Lions behind Madisyn McDonnell’s 81 yards passing and a touchdown. Monica Clermont and Gracie Fahy each recorded four flag pulls while Clermont added a sack. Defensively the team recorded four interceptions with Fahy recording one that was returned for a touchdown along with one receiving touchdown on offense.
Palm Beach Central (Wellington) 26, Forest Hill (West Palm Beach) 7
Rundown: The Broncos were led to a big opening night victory on the road behind Kelsi Aquas’ 208 yards passing and two touchdowns while Isabella Peralta recorded 103 yards receiving on six receptions plus recording two pass deflections and three interceptions on defense, two that were returned for touchdowns. Khristina Rowe recorded two sacks and four flag pulls in a big defensive effort against the host Falcons.

QB Kelsi Aquas, Palm Beach Central (Wellington), So. – 17-of-24 passing for 208 yards, two touchdowns, one interception in 26-7 victory over Forest Hill (West Palm Beach).
FS/WR Samantha Dobson, Tampa Catholic, Sr. – Returned an interception for a 60-yard touchdowns and also recorded one receiving touchdown on offense in a 48-0 victory over Seffner Christian.
DB/WR Gracie Fahy, Ridgeview Global Studies (Davenport), Fr. – Recorded four flag pulls, one interception that was returned for a touchdown and one receiving touchdown on offense in a 16-0 victory over Faith Christian (Orlando).
