Welcome to the second of our Flag Football Finals for the 2025 Girls Flag Football Season in Florida.
Each Flag Football Final will provide you scores from around the state on games played along with extended recaps on some of the top games and highlight top performances each day. Usually these articles will run the next day on most days each week during the season. Sometimes you might see scores from several days ago that have finally been reported and we will make sure those are reported if and when we find them.

No. 1 Robinson (Tampa) 33, Bloomingdale (Valrico) 6
The Knights got things started with a road victory over the Bulls with a lot of young athletes being some of the key pieces for this year’s team as they look to continue on the march towards a ninth straight state championship. The Knights currently hold the longest winning streak in the state by a girls flag football team at 36 wins dating back to the 2023 season.
Always fun to play the Legend. We got this one, but they will make some noise. QB (Lexi) was throwing dots, especially late. It will come together.

Ava Alvarez led the Panthers to a huge season opening victory over the visiting Stingarees with 153 yards passing and three touchdowns. Receiver Camai Moore was on the receiving end of two of Alvarez’s three touchdown passes. Moore and Ashley Alvarado each had an interception each as well.
No. 3 Lennard (Ruskin) 40, Leto (Tampa) 0
Looking to start another path back to the state championships in 2025, the Longhorns got off to a great start with a huge win over the visiting Falcons. In her first start at quarterback Sydney Elizondo threw for six touchdowns in leading Lennard to the victory.

Adrienne Rivera threw for 259 yards and five touchdowns while adding two more rushing touchdowns to lead the Cobras to a huge road victory over the host Sharks. Freshman Erin Boyd recorded 129 yards receiving on three receptions and two touchdowns in her first high school game. This all comes as the Cobras set a new scoring record in a game in program history.

The Raiders blasted the Trojans on the road to pick up their first victory of the season.
No. 7 Seminole Ridge (Westlake) 34, John I. Leonard (Greenacres) 0
Sophomore quarterback Aubrey Fogel threw for 218 yards and five touchdowns in leading the Hawks to a season opening victory at home. Carrie Didio led Seminole Ridge in receiving with 60 yards and a touchdown. Peyton Teman and Olivia Agosto each recorded an interception in the game as well.
Boyd Anderson (Lauderdale Lakes) 13, No. 9 Western (Davie) 0
One of a couple of Top 25 teams to fall in their opening game, the visiting Wildcats got snake bitten by the host Cobras starting off the 2025 season shaky ground.
Manatee (Bradenton) 12, No. 10 Braden River (Bradenton) 6
The Pirates found themselves on the wrong side of the scoreboard to start the season after their impressive playoff run in 2024, dropping a close game to the host Hurricanes.

The visiting Senators started off the 2025 season on the right note with a big victory over the host Bears.
Wellington 6, No. 15 Homestead 0
Making the long trek from southern Miami-Dade County to the northern end of Palm Beach County got the best of the visiting Broncos as the host Wolverines snatched up a hard fought victory to open the season. Wellington is currently ranked No. 10 in Class 4A.
No. 16 Florida High (Tallahassee) 32, Rickards (Tallahassee) 0
Eight grader Annelise Cardenas threw for 104 yards while Danielle White that threw for two touchdowns while rushing for 81 yards and two more touchdowns in helping led the Seminoles to season opening victory at home over the Raiders.
No. 18 Somerset Canyons (Boynton Beach) 16, Pahokee 0
The Cougars got off to solid start on the season, picking up a victory at home over the visiting Blue Devils.

The host Gators, a team on the bubble in Class 4A, blew out the No. 20 team in the state behind Myla Allgood’s 176 yards passing and two touchdowns in the air with one more touchdown on the ground. Linebacker Dominique Franklin recorded five flag pulls while freshman Temperance Grandison recorded an interception in the huge victory over the visiting Falcons. Paige Bressman struggled in the game for the Falcons going 16-of-21 for 92 yards and being intercepted once.

The Wolves got the season started off on the right note with a blowout victory over the host Ducks.

The Stingrays got off to a good start, rolling past the visiting Eagles to secure the victory.

A huge upset for the Eagles over the visiting Timberwolves that will have the Eagles potentially cracking the Class 3A Top 10 next week as sophomore quarterback Peyton Carter went 23-of-28 passing for 209 yards and two touchdowns while wide receiver/defensive back Layla Hughes recorded 120 yards receiving on nine receptions and both of Carter’s touchdown passes while adding three flag pulls and an interception on defense.

Ja’Kai Matthews threw for 144 yards and three touchdowns on 10-of-18 passing completions to lead the Greyhounds to victory while adding 71 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Erica Clariveaux was on the receiving end of all three of Matthews’ touchdowns, leading the team team in receiving with 85 yards on three touchdowns while also recording seven flag pulls, three sacks, and a pass deflection on defense.

RUNDOWN: Alexis Miller tossed the lone touchdown in the opening game in program history for both the the visiting Falcons and the host Sharks to give Anclote their first victory. Miller went 16-of-31 passing for 181 yards to go along with her lone touchdown. Miller also captured an interception on defense, while Cassidy Delima led team in flag pulls with five.

RUNDOWN: Charlotte Minnon started her senior season leading the Indians to victory at home over the visiting Raiders, throwning for 103 yards and two touchdowns while also recording an interception on defense. Memphis Perkins led the team defensive with four flag pulls.

RUNDOWN: Kylee Terry threw for 112 yards on 13-of-20 passing completions along with two touchdowns to lead the Bull Sharks to victory. Bella Martinez led the team in flag pulls with five as well as sacks with two.
Buchholz (Gainesville) 44, Gainesville 0
RUNDOWN: The Bobcats shutdown their crosstown rival in the visiting Hurricanes behind Isabella Alexander’s 262 yards passing and five touchdowns on 19-of-24 passing completions along with adding 75 yards rushing on four carries and one more touchdown. Atera Clark led the Bobcats in receiving with 62 yards on three receptions and two touchdowns. Defensively Taylor Booth led with three flag pulls while Grace Buckley recorded two sacks along with two flag pulls. Katherine Galione recorded three interceptions in the game for the Bobcats.
Dunedin 38, Largo 20
RUNDOWN: Erionna Henry went 10-of-22 passing for 140 yards, tossing three touchdowns in the process to led the Falcons to their first win of the season over the visiting Packers. Angelina Davis led Dunedin in receiving with 73 yards on three receptions and scored two touchdowns. Emmorie Barnes accounted for two sacks and three flag pulls on defense while Myleigh Ogelsby accounted for two interceptions, one which was returned for a touchdown while adding a rushing touchdown on offense.

RUNDOWN: Freshman quarterback Lia Cobbs tossed the lone touchdown for the host Cougars to Brylie Edwards in a game that was a defensive battle as there was a combined seven interceptions recorded between Durant and the visiting Raiders.
Keystone Heights 20, Tocoi Creek (St. Augustine) 19
RUNDOWN: The Indians escaped with a one-point victory over the first-year Toros. Alee Horton threw for one touchdown while rushing for 103 yards on seven carries scoring two more touchdowns. Alyssa Sanford led Keystone Heights on defense with four flag pulls and two sacks.
Cardinal Newman (West Palm Beach) 12, Forest Hill (West Palm Beach) 0
RUNDOWN: The Crusaders got the season going on the right note handing the host Falcons their second loss on the early season behind Jalyn Escobar’s 118 yards passing and two touchdowns. Lily Donnell recorded five flag pulls and two sacks on defense in the victory while Isabella Truchan and Brianna Mediavilla each recorded two interceptions each.
Land O’ Lakes 48, Wesley Chapel 0
RUNDOWN: In the first flag football playoff between the two Pasco County teams, the host Gators ran over the visiting Wildcats behind Sophia Spiegel’s 184 yards passing and five touchdowns to give Land O’ Lakes their first victory in program history. Spiegel added 53 yards rushing and a touchdown to her stats while Kaylynne Mace led the Gators in receiving with 88 yards on three reception and two touchdowns. Defensively, Land O’ Lakes recorded 30 flag pulls, three sacks and two interceptions.

RUNDOWN: Quarterback Kumari Wright threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two more in helping guide the Hawks to a season-opening victory over the visiting Bulldogs. Adeejah Clarke, Isabella Matthews, and Julietta Calabro each had an interception for Lake Minneola.
Lyman (Oviedo) 26, Lake Brantley (Altamonte Springs) 13
RUNDOWN: Jade Perez threw for 114 yards and two touchdowns in leading the Greyhounds to their season opening victory over the visiting Patriots. Norah Garraughty led Lyman in receiving and caught both of Perez’s touchdowns while Garraughty herself also had a passing touchdown in the game.
Nature Coast (Brooksville) 6, Weeki Wachee 0
RUNDOWN: The Sharks escaped with victory thanks to Madelyn DePetrillo’s lone touchdown pass to Gabriella Dross to give them a season-opening victory over the host Hornets. Gia Valenti led Nature Coast with six flag pulls on defense.
Oviedo 58, Crooms Academy (Sanford) 0
RUNDOWN: Led by Ansley Devos’ 143 yards passing and four touchdowns, the Lions opened up the season with a huge victory over the visiting Panthers. Lily McCaslin led Oviedo in receiving with 77 yards receiving on two receptions both being recorded for touchdowns. Kiara Hernandez led the defense with seven flag pulls and three sacks while Ryliee Jack recorded an interception.
Palm Glades Prep (Miami) 20, Somerset South Homestead 0
RUNDOWN: The Eagles saw 8th grader Barbara Rodriguez go 13-of-21 passing for 138 yards and three touchdowns in leading them to victory over the host Hurricanes. Kailah Howard recorded six receptions for 76 yards and was on the receiving end of two touchdowns in the victory. Bella Diaz recorded two sacks and three flag pulls on defense.
River Ridge (New Port Richey) 18, Zephyrhills 6
RUNDOWN: In the first flag football game in school history for both schools, the Royal Knights took home its first victory behind Taylor Mumma’s 113 yards passing and two touchdown. Mumma also added 21 yards rushing and another score to cap off the victory over the visiting Bulldogs. Abby Zetzsche led the Royal Knights in flag pulls with six while Jessica Jacobs recorded two sacks and five flag pulls.
Royal Palm Beach 6, Dwyer (Palm Beach Gardens) 0
RUNDOWN: It was not the prettiest way to win as Monica Blanc threw for three interceptions, but it was an all-important pass to Jasmine James for a touchdown that sealed the victory in the low scoring affair against the visiting Panthers.

RUNDOWN: Jillian Truax went 26-of-35 passing for 210 yards and four touchdowns in leading the Hawks to a huge season-opening victory on the road over the host Griffins. Chloe Waldo led Spruce Creek in receiving with seven receptions for 105 yards and was on the receiving end of three of Truax’s touchdowns. Nina Macy and Jada Kurk led the defense in flag pulls with 10 each while Elizabeth Phillips and Zion Willis each recorded three sacks. Waldo and Kurk had an interception a piece as well.
Stoneman Douglas (Parkland) 25, Olympic Heights (Boca Raton) 0
RUNDOWN: The Eagles picked up a season-opening victory behind Samantha Calavetta’s 150 yards passing and two touchdowns while Savannah Tenore recorded two interceptions on defense to defeat the visiting Lions.
Strawberry Crest (Dove) 28, Carrollwood Day (Tampa) 0
RUNDOWN: The Chargers made easy work over the host Patriots behind Zoe Surrency’s 162 yards passing and two touchdowns, leading to the season-opening victory. Also to Surrency’s credit she added 13 yards rushing and a touchdown to her stats in the game. Ariana Ruiz led the Chargers in receiving with six receptions for 99 yards and a touchdowns. Emerald Swain led Strawberry Crest in flag pulls with six while Kate Hartman intercepted two passes, with one being returned for a touchdown.
Sunlake (Land O’ Lakes) 39, Pasco (Dade City) 0
RUNDOWN: In one of the first-ever flag football games for a Pasco County public school, the Seahawks made easy workings of the visiting Pirates behind Kate Smith’s 168 yards passing and three touchdowns on 10-of-14 passing completions. Reese Gerhart led Sunlake in receiving with four catches for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Rusher Elise Laari led the team on defense with five flag pulls and four sacks while Kaycie Hyde recorded two interceptions which were returned for defensive touchdowns.
West Nassau (Callahan) 28, KIPP Bold City (Jacksonville) 0
RUNDOWN: Sophomore quarterback Payton Jefferson threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns on 8-of-12 passing attempts while Danyelle Bell was on the receiving end of all three of Jefferson’s touchdown passes hauling in five receptions for 120 yards in the victory. Clarisse Sasnett led the Warriors with five flag pulls on defense while Olivia Wiggins recorded an interception.

RUNDOWN: Ellanee Knight tossed two touchdowns and threw for 96 yards while scoring one more on the ground for the Wildcats in defeating the visiting Spartans. Anastasia Pino led the team in sacks with four while also recording six flag pulls in helping Wharton pitch the shutout.
