Lots of rain and wind, but we were able to grind out two victories over our Rival @PlantFlagFB
— RobinsonFlagFootball (@RobinsonFlag) February 25, 2025
Both games were hard fought as both JV and Varsity teams struggled to move the ball consistently. The Panthers have a good season ahead of them at both levels. #X #21
No. 2 Lennard (Ruskin) 2, Newsome (Lithia) 0
In a rain-soaked game and then some, with rain going sideways, the only score was a safety from Newsome, which gave the Longhorns the victory and allowed them to remain undefeated in the 2025 season. Head Coach Travis Combs reported to FloridaHSFootball.com that the Longhorns had two dropped touchdowns in the end zone due to the inclement weather in Ruskin.
