TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The 15th Annual Capital City Classic is set to take this upcoming weekend at Florida State University’s FSU Rec SportsPlex on the southwest side of Tallahassee with a field of teams from various regions in the state giving teams a chance to compete against teams they might not normally would otherwise.

This year’s tournament is slightly smaller and a few of the teams that would normally grace the tournament are absent due to other tournaments that have popped up around the state over the last few years with the tremendous and extraordinary growth of girls flag football. However, with that said, there is still quite a few competitive teams along with some newer programs that will be a part of this year’s Capital City Classic and it will be exciting to see who emerges heading towards the midway point of the season with some new momentum in place.
