With the 2025 Florida Girls Flag Football season now in the books, there is some post-season recognition to come for those from around the state over the coming weeks. One of those recognitions is something big that started four years ago in partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars with their Jaguars PREP outreach of the Jacksonville Jaguars Community Foundation and FloridaHSFootball.com in helping select the Jaguars All-PREP 25 Team with 25 of the top athletes selected this year from across 17 different programs in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ market. This marks the biggest representation of schools which coincides with the growth the sport has had over the last few seasons. We will profile each of the 25 athletes and their accomplishments for the season along with Coach of the Year and the Player of the Year for 2025.
All athletes were recognized at the Jaguars All-PREP 25 recognition event at the Academy Sports + Outdoors location on Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 with each athlete receiving a customized Jacksonville Jaguars jersey with their name and number on it, along with swag box filled with amazing swag and had a $200 shopping spree to use for themselves and their moms for Mother’s Day along with having their photos taken with Jaguars DB Tyson Campbell, the Jaguars 2021 Second Round NFL Draft Pick who played high school football at American Heritage (Plantation) and was a First Team All-State selection on FloridaHSFootball.com’s Class 5A All-State Football Teams.
However, for one of the Jaguars 2025 All-PREP 25 Girls Flag Football Athletes, they were named Player of the Year and received a pair of custom cleats on top of the all aforementioned stuff. This year, Jasmine Cross, a four-year varsity starter for Fletcher (Neptune Beach) was selected as this year’s All-PREP Player of the Year after finishing a stellar career and elevating the Senators Girls Flag Football Program.
Congratulations to this year’s Jaguars All-PREP Player of the Year, Jasmine Cross!
JASMINE CROSS
SCHOOL: Fletcher (Neptune Beach)
YEAR: 2025 (Senior)
POSITION: QB
WHY JASMINE WAS CHOOSEN: A four-year varsity starter at Fletcher under head coach Bradley Ashmore—who just completed his seventh season—Jasmine has been a trailblazer for the Senators, setting the standard for future flag football athletes. From the moment she stepped onto the field, Cross has been a leader, serving as team captain for all four years—an impressive accomplishment few athletes can claim.

In addition to her flag football success, Jasmine is a multi-sport athlete who also competes on Fletcher’s girls’ basketball team. She has been instrumental in leading the Senators to playoff appearances in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, with the program’s best finish coming in her junior year when they reached the regional finals.
This season, Jasmine has passed for over 2,000 yards and rushed for more than 1,000 yards while leading the Senators through one of the most challenging schedules in program history. She has been responsible for the majority of the team’s touchdowns, accounting for nearly 40 scores—whether through the air or on the ground. Over the past two seasons, Jasmine has totaled nearly 5,000 passing yards, more than 2,000 rushing yards, and over 90 touchdowns combined—further cementing her legacy as a program-defining athlete and setting a high standard for future Senators to follow.
As a four-year starter, Cross helped guide Fletcher to its first Gateway Conference Championship in flag football since the Senators won the inaugural title in 2005. She was also named a 1010XL Scholar-Athlete of the Week in March. Off the field, Jasmine is a dedicated student with a 3.48 GPA and is a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society.
