With the 2025 Florida Girls Flag Football season now in the books, there is some post-season recognition to come for those from around the state over the coming weeks. One of those recognitions is something big that started four years ago in partnership with the Jacksonville Jaguars with their Jaguars PREP outreach of the Jacksonville Jaguars Community Foundation and FloridaHSFootball.com in helping select the Jaguars All-PREP 25 Team with 25 of the top athletes selected this year from across 17 different programs in the Jacksonville Jaguars’ market. This marks the biggest representation of schools which coincides with the growth the sport has had over the last few seasons. We will profile each of the 25 athletes and their accomplishments for the season along with Coach of the Year and the Player of the Year for 2025.
All athletes were recognized at the Jaguars All-PREP 25 recognition event at the Academy Sports + Outdoors location on Southside Blvd. in Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 with each athlete receiving a customized Jacksonville Jaguars jersey with their name and number on it, along with swag box filled with amazing swag and had a $200 shopping spree to use for themselves and their moms for Mother’s Day along with having their photos taken with Jaguars DB Tyson Campbell, the Jaguars 2021 Second Round NFL Draft Pick who played high school football at American Heritage (Plantation) and was a First Team All-State selection on FloridaHSFootball.com’s Class 5A All-State Football Teams.
ELISSA MURDOCK
SCHOOL: University Christian (Jacksonville)
YEAR: 2026 (Junior)
POSITION: QB/LB
2025 SEASON NOTES: Elissa is a part of the inaugural girls flag football team for the Fighting Christians that came out of the gate on fire, going 10-1 overall and winning the District 1A-3 Championship and reaching the regional semifinals. Those huge accomplishments were driven by Elissa who is a multisport athlete for University Christian also competing on girls varsity soccer as well as girls varsity softball – which we know playing two sports in the same season is quite an accomplishment. To Elissa’s credit, she went 162-of-245 passing for 1,939 yards and 24 touchdowns while rushing for 530 yards on 58 carries and seven touchdowns. Defensively Elissa recorded seven flag pulls, three sacks, an interception and also handled the punting duties for the Fighting Christians averaging over 30 yards per punt! Murdock’s performance this season also earned her Jaguars Player of the Week for Week 6. Congratulations to Elissa for being named to the Jaguars All-PREP 25 Team for the 2025 Girls Flag Football season!
