The Opponent Strength Index (OSI) provides a preseason snapshot of the overall strength of schedule for SSAA 8-Man programs heading into the 2025 season. The higher the OSI rating, the tougher the schedule a team is expected to face. As the season unfolds, the OSI will update weekly based on results, reflecting both performance and the quality of competition. It also serves as one of several key components in the Florida Power Rankings Index (FPRI), which delivers a comprehensive measure of team strength across the state.
