After reviewing box scores and standout highlights, we narrowed the field down to 10 finalists for the second The Blitz – Northeast Florida Football Player of the Week award. We also spotlighted a few more athletes who were strongly considered.

DE Dominic Swilley, Middleburg
Congratulations to Middleburg DE Dominic Swilley on winning The Blitz – Northeast Florida Player of the Week for Week 1! Swilley logged six tackles (three for loss), two sacks, three hurries and a pick-six in a 58–14 win over Westside.
QB Cruz James Bajek, Fletcher
Completed 11-of-14 passes for 320 yards and five touchdowns in a 45–8 win over Terry Parker.
RB/S Camauri Bolden, Hilliard
Rushed for 128 yards and four touchdowns, added two catches for 20 yards, and recorded nine tackles with three for loss in a 48–6 win over Harvest Community.
WR Camden Coffindaffer, St. Joseph
Caught nine passes for 177 yards and three touchdowns in a 37–20 win over Geneva.
DB Andrew Crews, Beachside
Had a 97-yard interception return for a touchdown plus a forced fumble and a sack in a 64–0 win over Englewood.
RB Leonard Holton, Old Plank Christian
Racked up 280 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries, plus a touchdown reception and 104 kickoff return yards in a 55–32 win over Duval Charter.
QB Brenton James, St. Augustine
Went 14-of-15 for 254 yards and four touchdowns in a 48–6 win over Menendez.
QB Cody Ott, St. Joseph
Passed for 272 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 109 yards and a score in a 37–20 win over Geneva.
MLB Zack Sandell, First Coast
Tallied 14 tackles, two sacks, and a pick-six in a 55–6 win over KIPP Bold City.
WR Diondre Smith, Fletcher
Posted 156 receiving yards and three touchdowns in a 45–8 win over Terry Parker.
ATH Brysen Wright, Mandarin
Scored on a 51-yard receiving play, a 100-yard interception return, and a 65-yard punt return while adding three tackles in a 54–16 win over Atlantic Coast.
