JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Bolles School announced Wednesday that Dream Finders Homes founder Patrick Zalupski has donated $6 million to fund construction of a new athletic performance center on the Upper School San Jose campus.
The facility, to be named the Dream Finders Homes Athletic Performance Center, will feature advanced strength and conditioning equipment, a hydrotherapy room, indoor and outdoor turf training areas, a nutrition zone and expanded space for recovery and sports medicine. The two-story building will overlook Skinner-Barco Stadium and Hodges Field, providing a central hub for all Bolles athletic programs.
Construction is expected to begin in 2026, with a total project cost estimated at $12 million. Plans call for about 12,000 square feet of indoor space and an additional 13,000 square feet of covered outdoor turf for practice and performance work.
Bolles President and Head of School Tyler Hodges said the donation reflects a shared vision of supporting student-athletes in all aspects of their development.
“This extraordinary gift reflects a shared vision for empowering our student-athletes to reach their full potential — physically, mentally and academically,” Hodges said in a statement.
Zalupski said his company’s investment is part of its commitment to community growth and youth development.
“Bolles student-athletes consistently represent the highest national standards of academic achievement, character, teamwork and performance,” Zalupski said. “Dream Finders Homes is honored to support student-athletes who will continue to carry the Bolles legacy forward, both on and off the field.”
Bolles Athletic Director Rock Pillsbury called the contribution a “game-changer” for the school’s athletic programs, adding that the new facility will give student-athletes and coaches access to “the very best tools, knowledge and environment to thrive in the classrooms, on the fields, courts and pools.”
The school said additional naming opportunities remain available as fundraising continues for the project.
