Below are the complete Central Florida regional rankings, featuring all 73 teams across all four classifications plus independents. Rankings are based on the Florida Power Rankings Index's two-year historical blend of 2024 and 2025 performance.

Use the table below to see where your team ranks regionally throughout the Orlando metro area and Central Florida. These preseason rankings will serve as the baseline as the 2026 season unfolds starting February 16.

Central Florida's Elite Programs:

Spruce Creek (#1, 66.45) leads the region as one of the state's top Class 4A programs and a legitimate championship contender. Apopka (#2, 63.02) follows as another elite 4A program. The top seven all rate above 57.0, creating a strong tier of championship-caliber and playoff-contending programs.

Classification Breakdown:

Class 4A : 35 teams (Spruce Creek leads at #1 overall)

Class 3A : 11 teams (Oviedo leads at #5 overall)

Class 2A : 14 teams (New Smyrna Beach leads at #9 overall)

Class 1A : 9 teams (Atlantic leads at #25 overall)

Independents : 8 teams (Orlando Science leads at #22 overall)

Competitive Balance:

Central Florida features an exceptional top tier with seven programs rated above 57.0, followed by a competitive middle tier. The region has 24 teams rated above average (36.0 or better), demonstrating solid depth. The bottom third features developing programs working to establish consistency.

Geographic Distribution:

Orlando Area (Orange County) : Dominant presence with Apopka, Timber Creek, West Orange, Jones, Dr. Phillips, Freedom, Winter Park, and numerous other programs

Seminole County : Strong representation with Oviedo (#5) and Lake Howell (#12) in top 15

Osceola County (Kissimmee Area): Harmony (#4), Celebration (#7), St. Cloud (#14) lead strong contingent

Volusia County (Daytona Beach Area) : Spruce Creek (#1) leads with New Smyrna Beach (#9), DeLand (#11), Deltona (#15) providing depth

Lake County : Lake Minneola (#13), Mount Dora (#18) represent the area

Teams to Watch:

The top seven (Spruce Creek, Apopka, Timber Creek, Harmony, Oviedo, Horizon, Celebration) all rate 57+ and represent the region's elite tier

Central Florida's strength lies in its Class 4A depth and the concentration of elite programs at the top. The region's 73 teams span a wide geographic area from Daytona Beach to Kissimmee, creating diverse competition and compelling district races throughout multiple counties.
