We are into Week 2 for Flag Football her in the Sunshine State and things are just starting to crank up with teams around the state. Teams in the FLORIDA POWER 25 were perfect in their games on Monday. Here is a full scoreboard with recaps from the FLORIDA POWER 25 games along with other select games from across the state.

No. 1 Robinson (Tampa) 25, Plant (Tampa) 15
Paige Halverson threw four touchdown passes and Sarah Williams caught three of them as Robinson improved to 2-0 with a 25-15 victory over Plant Monday in Tampa. Freshman Ayden Klaiber intercepted two passes for the Knights. Reese Pittman completed 31-of-41 passes for 247 yards for Plant, which fell to 0-2.
No. 8 Pace 7, Fort Walton Beach 6
The Patriots faced a tough outing to start the season at home coming up with the one point victory to start of the season 1-0.
No. 10 Miami Palmetto 19, True North (Miami) 6
Fernanda Moreno threw for 71 yards and a touchdown and also caught a pass as Palmetto improved to 2-0 with a 19-6 victory over True North Classical Academy Monday in Miami. Giselle Felix and Samantha Hernandez each had touchdown receptions for the Panthers. Takayla Strowbridge and Hernandez each intercepted a pass defensively. True North fell to 0-1.

The Raiders bounced back from their season-opening loss to even things out to 1-1 on the season with a shutout over the Bobcats.
No. 17 Steinbrenner (Lutz) 21, Riverview (Riverview) 0
Megan Medina completed 12-of-19 passes for 73 yards and two touchdowns and added a rushing score as Steinbrenner shut out Riverview 21-0 Monday to improve to 2-0. Freshman Cecilia Leon caught six passes for 38 yards and both of Medina’s touchdown passes. Sydney Roder also saw time at quarterback for the Warriors. Riverview fell to 0-2.

The Blue Darters bounched back from their season opening loss to Dr. Phillips with a touchdown score to win it against the Trojans at home to move to 1-1 on the season.

The Longhorns opened up their season with a dominant win on the road over the Panther to move to 1-0 on the season.

Kamryn Hughes threw a touchdown pass and rushed for yards as Booker T. Washington, ranked No. 8 in the Panhandle region rankings, blanked Gulf Breeze 19-0 Monday in Pensacola to improve to 2-0. Devani Williams hauled in three receptions for 95 yards and the score, with a long of 49 yards. Freshman Dani Slattery rushed for 50 yards on three carries. Booker T. Washington’s defense recorded three interceptions, with Angel Akins, Aubrey Pinckney and Slattery each picking off a pass. Gulf Breeze fell to 1-1.

Kameran Weber added three catches for 29 yards and a score. Molly Koerner intercepted a pass and returned it 21 yards defensively. St. Petersburg fell to 0-2. Osceola, ranked No. 21 in the Tampa Bay region rankings, improved to 1-0.

Bella Peed led the Griffins with six receptions for 94 yards and three touchdowns, while Jazmin Johnson added seven catches for 82 yards and Kiari Church hauled in three receptions for 73 yards. Defensively, seventh-grader Bella Burgess recorded two interceptions and Lizy Mendez added one. Gateway Charter, ranked No. 10 in the Southwest Florida region rankings, improved to 1-0.
