CRAWFORDVILLE – As many Florida teams are looking to boost their schedule for the upcoming 2015 season, Wakulla will be one of those will do so.
The War Eagles (8-3 in 2014), will host Spartanburg High School of South Carolina come Week 0 (August 21) or Week 1 (August 28) according to Dallas Jackson of NationalHSFootball.com.
The exact date of when the game will be played depends on television opportunities that are available for the game to be showcased, most likely on one of the ESPN Networks.
Spartanburg finished ranked No. 78 in the final 2014 HSFB100 and is expected to be ranked again going into the 2015 season.
Wakulla will start the 2015 season with in a familiar district for the next four years, playing Godby and Rickards in District 5A-2. However, the War Eagles are not expected to be ranked in the Top 100 to start the season.
