and by the way I do respect what booker t Washington has accomplished, I think they can easly win the 4A championship again as long as they get past bolles and coco but keep in mind u talk about trinity christen they can recruit bc they are a private school, we are a public school so comparying us is like comparing a apple to a orange we should not be judged the same teir as them, and yeah btw would probley blow us out, but I also know they would never schedule us, mainly bc it would by like 6 hour drive on both sides of it, and they would have no reason, they would have nothing to prove since they have plenty of other teams in Miami they can play, they don't need us on schedule, but talk about small schools someone like madision comes to mind, they are a small school who is now in 1A probley going to win at least next 2 and likely the next 4 state titles in the 1A, they might be most successful small school I have seen, very competitive and somehow they seem to always have talent

does anyone know when most schedules are supposed to be announced?

mainland, Valdosta, st Augustine, bolles, raines, Apopka, west orange, santé fe, Lincoln, madision, vero beach, Jackson, leon, Trenton, ribault, biship Kenny, Niceville, choctawatchee, and many more teams we have played and beaten so yeah I guess we don't play good teams, sounds like u have never done your research, Miami isent only place with good teams despite u not wanting to belive it

and if you want I can pull up plenty of games we won against teams supposed to be better and many of top teams out there

and btw I think that STA would match up well to btw and probley beat them, and STA would beat central

over 600 victories, that demands respect in itself and we don't get to recruit like your Miami schools

and besides yeah we deserve respect, because unless your team in manatee we have more wins then your school does

what im saying is if they had to play some of the physical teams we play or that some of our opponents play, they would not be so easily going through the season, for one they would have a lot more injuries, second they would get physically beat down

what do u mean beatdown, we played 0-0 at haft which was official score since they switched varisty out in second haft, and we beat west orange despite "spotting" them 26 points

what i was saying is that in those higher classifications they would get beat up bc those classes are full of big, powerful players, so I believe that at some point they would have fallen and I think streak will end soon, bc its hard to keep winning especially when they are losing their coach

im saying that by now someone who have found a way to beat them guess what teams can be beat on any given day, ever heard the quote " any team can be beaten on any given day"

feel bad for them, looks like the end of the line I have been around long enough that when a outsider comes in they screw everything up, they change the system and the try to fix something that aint broke it the teams don't seem to hit the same level they had bf

honestly I don't know what counts as a big game in Miami or south florida, so just tell me any games u know of

their is more too it then that, if u play a full schedule in 6-8 A you get punished bc those 3 classifications are most physical in state of florida, and the toughest, they would have players on their team getting beat down and injured, so they would not be the same, probley would have championship but they would not be undefeated for this long now I think they would win the state title in those classifications, just that they would not be undefeated.

not downing btw but how many really tough games do they play a year, considering they are in 4A im not saying they would not win but i honestly dont think they have a 40+ win streak in 6A 7A or 8A

then who will be the next coach, and woah 2 coaches leaving after championships 2 years in a row

the question is how do rivaries in Miami maintain when the top team goes back in forth, like 80s it was northwestern who had success in 90s and most of 00s, carol city had some success in 90s and central and btw as we hit the 2010s, but how do those rivaries maintain itself

what a game that would be, if I lived in south florida I would deventally come to that game, mabey they will broadcast it on espn, be right up espn's alley to televise a game like that especially considering the fact that Miami vs fort laredale 2 big markets and talent exact type of game espn brodcasts

that sounds like a unusall type of rivary and did u say 31 year drought, if that so I respect u all for keeping them on schedule, some teams with long losing streaks consider and even cancel their rivaries both are in panhandle we have played Niceville bf but don't think we have every played crestview but interesting hearing about the amount of rivaries out there

yeah ik I used west orange which was a good example that most people looking back would think they should have beaten us and they were leading 26-0 with like 4 minutes to go in second quarter but we went on a run and won 35-34 and btw that's the point, no we probley are not as dominate as we were in the 90s and early 00s or how we were in last 60s or in the early 40s but we are still one of the most successful teams in florida and most successful school in north central florida so if anyone can pull a game like this out I cant guarantee a win but I will say I know we can beat them but not going to be easy because Apopka is a very good team but I cant wait till we play because ik we will be given a great challenge and I cant wait to see Columbia in a very good game against a benchmark oppount in a game that we can see what we have as a team

and btw you dont know anything about either roster or what they will be next year, teams look different year by year, so they can be different teams by that kickoff game im not saying our team right now will beat them, but dont go assuming we are about to go out there and lose, besides this game is a proving ground game so we can see what we are, and we will see when we play the game

we beat west orange in pratically one haft, matchup aint as far off as people would have u believe just to bad we dont play whatever your team is
