I been knew that. Just go to handicapper's note. He explained the point that i was making. I been to games that had a shooting occurence, and it was no premier game at all. It wouldn't stop me from going, but it shouldn't be tolerated.Well then why would you understand if this happened in Dade and not "around Ft. lauderdale"? This statement makes it sound like you think that there are no dangerous places in Broward, and thats why these two where saying that. Nobody was claiming that Dillard or Ba was a bigger rivalry than the ones in Miami.
You think that violence only happens at games with ranked teams or something? Lol.
Anyways all these stabbings and violence @ games is sad, but it's been happening for ages and is a reason a lot of people won't go to certain games.

@Muck boy561 If that's the case wouldn't we all agree that Coral Gables is better then Carol City since they beat them.
That was back in Week 1 though. That's like saying Jackson would beat Booker T in a rematch this season.

You make more sense then both of those clowns put together. Guy gets a bit of a positive influence when noticing a stabbing in a game. He's went at it with about 8 other posters here, and been "owned" every time...ErmacX2 didn't say anything about Sistrunk/Franklin Park being soft. Where was that stated?
I think he was just focusing about the games played on the field - not crime statistics. I think his point was you don't need a crime ridden area to make for a good rivalry at a high school football game. If that were the case people would be lining up to play Suncoast out of Riviera Beach and Homestead High school. The stabbing is unfortunate and may have had nothing to do with the game being played on the field.

Have Dillard/BA made any news stories nationally around lately (STA-Deer), or had their fights on CBS news (MIR-FLA), or ESPN. No. Thought so. All of that there, and no shootings or stabbings in those games. Oakland Park ?. What does Northeast have to do with this. Northeast just got trashed by McArthur recently. Lmaoo

Please. Don't make me laugh my axx off with this one. I don't need to tell you what part i'm from. Dillard/BA is nowhere near Miramar/Flanagan or Aquinas/Deerfield. I seen Dillard play CC a few seasons ago in the playoffs at Dillard, and Carol City had more fans than Dillard. You always think people are taking shots at Dillard, if you think that way then i feel for you. If saying BA, Northeast and Ely is in the same tier as them makes you feel better then go along with it. Continue thinking with your delusional stories. Str8 up Dillard and BA is the second biggest rival in Broward county to Dillard vs Ely where u have hundreds of people filling into the stands on that Friday and Saturday night with a hundred plus outside looking in along the gates what means anything can happen you have people in their smoking weed making bets on the game clicking up with their friends to handle beef with someone off social media or from another hood with any thing capable of going down why do u think its so many polices that be to the game because they know what type of Game and atmosphere its gonna be Dillard and ba HATE each other these kids grew up with each other playing against each other So no monument have to be in the NFL and etc to have these type of atmospheres but ayee if u not from south Florida u not from these trenches round here then you just another person on online with an opinion.

Well that's silly as hell. They shouldn't even be allowed in the stands to begin with, and thrown in jail for stuff like that. This isn't NFL. I could clearly understand why some stupid idiot would come to a game to do something like that.

Ridiculous. HS football should be a fun but safe environment. It's for kids. If someone gets stabbed on a campus, that school should have hell to pay with the FHSAA. Probably just one bad actor, but a school has to be able to control what's happening on its own premises. Clearly they need metal detectors and a bigger police presence if kids are getting stabbed. If that doesn't work, shut down the program.
I totally agree. This is why our public school system here is mostly trash.

Friday was just a real crazy tensed night 1 person told me they left the go because the tension was so thick in the air u could feel it.
With buddy getting stabbed fights happening in the stands both teams got into a huge brawl with coaches and all getting hit it just Got real crazy dillard fans almost raided the field it was just a game unlike I never experienced I know dillard and ba is a bug rivalry but friends it went to a ENTIRE new level.
Please. It's just HSFB. I been to Dillard before, it's not as packed as Traz, or a top-tier program before down here. No offense, but there shouldn't be no stabbings anywhere. That's embrassing. Who ever is ahead of that athletic should elevate themselves. I could understand if that was in Dade County like around North Dade or South Dade, but not around fort lauderdale.

The 2A attendance is always exaggerated. I have been and there maybe 300-500 people there. They must be counting players, band cheerleaders and people working the concession to get to 1300!! A sad sight for sure, actually felt bad for the kids.
I don't like it. It's really waterdowns the whole state event as a whole. Our state in the HSFB needs a facelift from the off-season to during.

Well to be specific to that. You don't really see that in other power states as a real powerhouse program losing to a random opponent in the same area (much less an opponent that they should have taken care of in the first place since BTW had national title aspirations in the later part of the season. Central is on a roll, and should win, and if they win out, they should be in the running for that mythical national #1 rank, that itself would help the state. STA's lost to BTW now really hurts their chances unless they rack up 50 on that Gorman team which i don't see.

Embarrassing loss. Coach has publicly stated that his team was going for the National Championship since the pre-season. Jackson is not a good team.
This loss really hurts the state all around. STA has got to be kicking themselves right now. Really comical on this one.

Huh ? That loss is nowhere in the realm of this one. Credit given to Jackson, but BTW shouldn't have lost this game. By the way 4A is very watered down. Not a very strong class so comparing it to 7A is kinda silly.

OK. A decent team means a team that can seriously hang with Aquinas, Booker T, Central or Flanagan regardless of a regular season game or a pre-season game. I'm not trying to bash your team, but if your team loses 51-0 to a real juggernaut then they're things to work on. Decent teams don't allow themselves to get killed 51-0 pre-season, regular season, or etc. Just because you make the playoffs doesn't necessarily mean you're a real playoff contender. Our classifications are really watered-down. Never mind what you're saying. Look at the posters here. Do you think that Lakeland fan thinks LND is the juggernaut of what they were a real while ago or that Mia Central fan. Sure, Dillard could make the playoffs, and Make a real title run, but after beating a team like Stranahan, we're supposed to open our eyes, and have that view. Central is a shell of what they were three seasons ago, and are still a state championship contender. Part of that is because the classes are watered down, part of it is that Central knows how to get kids to their program, and still have plenty of "juice" I'm not saying Dillard is a dump of a program, but decent, there's a fine line of that.The Fact You Say Dillard isnt a DECENT team says alot Right There ..there is A diffrence between a TITLE CONTENDER & a Team decent team With talent which equalls potential Dillard is a Decent Team 3 out of the last 4 years we were in the playoffs and even got to the 2md round where we just lost to a better team which was and is a TITLE CONTENDER & A NATIONALLY RANKED team.
& by the way gables may not be top 3 but there most Def Top 5

If that was the case then obviously I would call you out on your manhood, and with names. You just can't handle the truth that Dillard is nowhere near a decent program in Dade & Broward county. In Basketball, it's a different story, they're a top-tier program.
That's like saying because Gables beat Carol City who was in a decent game with IMG that automatically they're a top 3 team in Dade County. Uhh no, that's now how it works. Once I see Dillard beat any of those teams that I listed, then I'll give them all of the credit in the world. Just because I say they're not a top-tier team doesn't mean I'm saying they're a team full of bad players. Learn to read next time. Aren't you a coach.

Miramar isn't the same anymore, and they would convincingly beat Dillard as Hallandale and Deerfield. They're going nowhere but to get a 1st round beating from Central, or Northwestern. Cypress Bay and McArthur could probably beat Dillard. All you can do is just laugh, and laugh some more.
