ST. PETERSBURG | While one school has found its man to lead its program into the 2012 season, another will be searching for his replacement.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, Andre Dobson, who has been the head coach for the last four years at Northside Christian in St. Petersburg, accepted the head coaching position late last week at Lakeland Victory Christian. Dobson will be taking over from Jeff Schaum who resigned last month. Dobson will also become the athletic director for the school as well.
Dobson told the Times its bittersweet to leave after his family put down roots, but there were too many opportunities at Victory Christian to say no.
Dobson will leave Northside Christian with a 14-27 record.
