The Walter Camp Football Foundation in conjunction with the National College Football Awards Association released the Walter Camp Award watch list today as national trophy and awards watch lists continue to be released during the month of July. The Walter Camp Award is awarded annually to the Collegiate Football Player of the Year.
The Walter camp award has been awarded annually since 1967 and is named after the guy who played in the first Yale-Harvard game of Rugby in 1878, who end up becoming one of the giants of football in the United States, according to the Walter Camp Football Foundation website.
These seven Florida HS Football alumni made the watch list and should be commended for their efforts on the field and getting recognized for it.
