Offensive guards and centers are key pieces to an offensive line. With having the best protection up front, it will allow your skill positions to make the plays need to win on Friday nights. Here are some of the best in the Class of 2014 who have been making their names known.

List complied by Florida HS Football Staff

1. Isaiah Wynn | OG | 6’3 | 260 | Lakewood
Verbal Commitment The Scoop
Committed to Georgia Wynn is a big force up front helping to protect his quarterback each and every game. This is a huge reason Lakewood made the playoffs last season and likely a big reason they are favorites in their district this season.
2. Corey Martinez | OG | 6’4 | 297 | Tampa Catholic
Verbal Commitment The Scoop
Committed to Florida State Tampa Catholic has risen back up as a team to watch in Class 3A and would like make a run towards the state finals this season. Martinez was a recent participant of Nike’s The Opening and a big season from him is expected.
3. Montel McBride | OG | 6’4 | 329 | Plant City
Verbal Commitment  The Scoop
Committed to Alabama McBride has steadily risen up the charts and is now Plant City’s top offensive lineman. McBride’s recent commitment to Alabama shows just how much he has risen to be a top level prospect.
4. Travaris Dorsey | OG | 6’2 | 315 | Raines
Verbal Commitment The Scoop
Committed to Florida Dorsey has been a huge factor for the Vikings offensive line and was one of the reasons the Vikings snatched the district title away from Bolles in 2011. Dorsey. Look for him to contribute well again in hope of getting the Vikings a district title this season.
5. Josh Allen | OG | 6’3 | 290 | University Christian
Verbal Commitment The Scoop
Committed to North Carolina Allen, helped Tim Betros last season to become the first quarterback in state history to win two state championships with two different schools in back-to-back years last season. Allen will once again be called upon to help the Fighting Christians’ defend their Class 2A state title this season

IN THE BUBBLE
