Notes about our upcoming 2015 Preview Guide Section

It is that time of year once again to start looking at what the teams could bring to the table. The start of the 2015 season will be here before we know it and FloridaHSFootball.com is already working to release a preview section that we believe will get you ready for the season.

Although our original intent was to do district previews, we have had to shift some resources since the original plan was laid out due to logistics. However, the goal remains the same of hitting every section of the state to give you all a feel of what we expect this upcoming season.

REGION PREVIEW SETUP

Each region will have the following items that will consist of the preview:

– Region Notebook that will notes of interest, coaching changes, commitments and so forth
– Top Games which will featured what we think will be the top games of the region this season.
– All-Region Team(s) consisting of players who have achieved well or should be achieving well this season.
– Regional Rankings which will be the Top 10 teams of the region, regardless of classification

CLASSIFICATION RANKINGS & STATEWIDE TOP 25 

A change this year will be the fact we will be taking our rankings in house. We will look at information from around the state including observations from our staff and interns to come up the best set of rankings around the state. This includes rankings for the eight classifications as well a statewide Top 25 regardless of class. Rankings shouldn’t be just based upon wins and losses, but should also look at a team’s schedule to see how they are fairing.

DISTRICT, CONFERENCE & STATE CHAMPIONSHIP PROJECTIONS 

At the end of the preview section we will release our district projections for all 96 districts, all the independent conferences broken down by divisions and give you our state championship projections.

TEAM PREVIEWS

Teams that have submitted a questionnaire back to us will get the chance to shine in the spotlight even further with an individual team preview. It will include important team information, players to watch, team outlook, a schedule overview and if given we will talk about those rivalries that make Friday nights special!

Here are the teams from each region that will be featured in a team preview during the preview section. If you do not see your team on the list ask your coach to see why he has not submitted a questionnaire back to us (multiple email and Twitter notices have been sent out as reminders).
