Here are the Class 2A Preseason Rankings from FloridaHSFootball.com.
Class 2A Top 5
1. Indian Rocks Christian: Class 2A state runner-up last year and finished the 2014 season with a 12-1 record. Very strong chance they will be back in Orlando once again this season as they return some talent from last year’s team while bringing in some transfers.
2. Glades Day: Finished 2014 with a 10-3 record before falling to Indian Rocks Christian in the state semifinals. Should have a solid team, but will find another tough Indian Rocks Christian team waiting in the playoffs very likely.
3. Victory Christian: Defending Class 2A state champion that finished the 2014 season with a 13-1 record. The Storm will be replacing a lot, so there are certainly questions if they can be the top team again in Class 2A this season.
4. North Florida Christian: The team that played Victory Christian tough in the state semifinals will have a lot of weapons back and should be improved this season. Facing a tough schedule as always. Finished the 2014 season with a 7-5 record.
5. Northside Christian: Mike Alstott has turned this team around and this should be a breakout year for the Mustangs after reaching the playoffs last year with an 8-3 record.
