Aaron Sheppard, Jefferson County – Has Jefferson County off to a 2-0 start, their first 2-0 start in a very long time.
OTHER PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS
WR Chris Jackson, FAMU – Jackson went over 100 yards for the second straight week, finishing with 102 yards in a 43-6 loss to Jefferson County.
QB Daytron Hall, FAMU – Hall was 14 of 28 for 129 yards in 43-6 loss to Jefferson County.
QB Avery Thomas, North Florida Christian – Thomas was 8 of 13 for 136 yards and four touchdowns.
RB Tyquan Watson, Godby – Watson accumulated 125 yards and one touchdown in 41-31 win over Chiles
QB Landon Simpkins, Chiles – Simpkins was 10 of 18 for 186 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-31 loss to Godby.
QB Isaiah Hill, Florida High – 12 of 16 passing for 116 yards and two touchdowns in a 38-21 win over East Gadsden.
QB Chris Brimm, Lincoln – 20 of 37 passing for 211 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception in a 23-14 loss to Columbia.
RB Monte Loggins, Wakulla – 7 carries for 85 yards and two touchdowns in Wakulla’s 31-14 win over Cathedral Prep, Pa., who had a 34-game regular season win streak before it was snapped.
