Most Valuable Player
QB/ATH Woody Barrett, Sr., West Orange
Had over 3,000-plus yards of offense for a Warriors team that went through its deepest playoff run in school history, accumulating over 40 touchdowns through the air or on the ground in the process.
Offensive Player of the Year
RB LaDarrien Wilson, Sr., Osceola (Kissimmee)
Rushing for over 2,800 yards, the most by anyone athlete in Class 8A, Wilson has helped lead Osceola to back-to-back state championship games over the last two seasons
Defensive Player of the Year
DL Chei Hill, Jr., South Dade
Racked up 131 tackles and 16 sacks for a Buccaneers squad that reached the finals this year, after missing the playoffs in 2014.
Coach of the Year
Brian Braddock, Mandarin
After finishing with a 6-4 record in 2014 and missing the playoffs, the Mustangs made the most of the 2015 season under Braddock, finishing the regular season undefeated for the first time in school history and reaching the Regional Finals for the first time as well.
CLASS 7A SUPERLATIVES
Most Valuable Player
LB Jameson Boyd, So., Viera
Although he didn’t lead the team in sacks, his 10 interceptions to go along with 105 tackles was outstanding for a team that played a tougher schedule than what they played in 2014, that including a trip to national powerhouse, Allen, Texas
Offensive Player of the Year
WR Dallon Washington, Sr., Columbia
Led the state for the most receiving yards in Class 7A with 1,289 yards and hauled in 14 touchdowns with Columbia’s State Semifinalist team
Defensive Player of the Year
LB Laqavious Paul, Sr., Columbia
Racked up 131 tackles, but more impressive was his 19 sacks and 12.5 tackles for loss to go with it all on a Tigers team that was highly impressive during the 2015 season.
Coach of the Year
Kevin Mays, Viera
Viera did the unexpected this year leading the Hawks through a tough schedule, finishing 6-4 and then proceeded to impress in the playoffs against more well known competition including Lakeland and Columbia to reach the State Championship game for the first time in school history.

Most Valuable Player
QB N’Kosi Perry, Jr., Vanguard (Ocala)
Impressive season for Perry, who is only a junior, throwing for 2,532 yards and 33 touchdowns while only being picked off just three times. Also accounted for 11 rushing touchdowns as well.
Offensive Player of the Year
QB/ATH Darrian McNeal, Jr., Armwood
Another QB that has the ability to damage you through the air game or through the ground game. Threw for 1,697 yards and 15 touchdowns while rushing for 1,238 yards and 21 touchdowns in leading Armwood to the Class 6A State Championship game
Defensive Player of the Year
DL Keir Thomas, Sr., Miami Central
One of the biggest reasons why Miami Central has now won four straight state championships is because of its defense. Keir Thomas is no exception here, racking up 85 tackles and collecting 20 sacks during the season.
Coach of the Year
Jay Lindsey, Tate
Although things were already set in place to keep things going at Tate when Lindsey took over this season, no one expected the Aggies to make their first deep run into the playoffs in over 30 years this season, racking up playoff wins against previously undefeated Navarre, Pine Forest, Niceville to reach the state semifinal before falling to Armwood.
CLASS 5A SUPERLATIVES
Most Valuable Player
RB DeShawn Smith, Sr., Nature Coast
Racking up the most yards in a single season since Derrick Henry did in 2012 and breaking Henry’s most touchdowns scored in a single season. The total finish for Smith is 3,715 yards rushing, 60 touchdowns while also have 321 yards receiving and 5 more touchdowns.
Offensive Player of the Year
QB/ATH Feliepe Franks, Sr., Wakulla
Franks complied over 2,700 yards passing, throwing 35 touchdowns to 2 interceptions in leading Wakulla to the Class 5A State Championship game. Franks also kicked and punted for the team, excelling both of those areas as well during the season.
Defensive Player of the Year
DL Brian Burns, Sr., American Heritage (Plantation)
Although the Patriots didn’t get back to Orlando for a third straight year, Burns was able to be a leader racking up 60 tackles, 15.5 sacks and 19 TFL.
Coach of the Year
Justin Worden, Nature Coast
Nature Coast which has not been as known on a statewide level got pushed into the spotlight not only thanks DeShawn Smith, but with the ability of turning around a Nature Coast program that went from 6-4 and outside of the playoffs, to completing the first undefeated season for any team in Hernando County history and reaching the regional finals for the first time in school history.

Most Valuable Player
QB Daniel Richardson, Fr., Booker T. Washington
How often do you have a freshmen quarterback come in, is surrounded by a team of mostly underclassmen talent having to live up the hype of the three past years and do so well? Not often, but Daniel Richardson showed what he could do by passing for 2,765 yards and 33 touchdowns in leading the Tornadoes to their fourth straight state championship.

QB Henry Colombi, Jr., University School
Here is a QB that helped put University School back in the spotlight this season, where Colombi threw for 3,044 yards, 34 touchdowns and rushing for three touchdowns.
Defensive Player of the Year
LB Caysaun Wakeley, Sr., Santa Fe (Alachua)
One of the best defensive players for the Santa Fe Raiders, Wakeley made the most of his senior year, by collecting up 113 tackles, 28 tackles for loss and 17 sacks in helping the team reach the State Semifinals for the first time since 1994.

Deran Wiley, Raines
After many years of playing second fiddle to Bolles, Raines finally pushed past the biggest bully standing in its path to reaching the state finals for the first time since Raines won it all in 1997.

Most Valuable Player
ATH Nate Craig-Myers, Sr., Tampa Catholic
One of the top rated athletes that actually lived up to the hype of his ranking, hauling in 63 catches for 1,018 yards, while amassing 1,567 All-Purpose yards, intercepting six passes and had 21 total touchdowns.
Offensive Player of the Year
QB Billy Cobb, Sr., Trinity Christian (Jacksonville)
Cobb has been an instrumental leader of the Trinity Christian offense, passing for 2,579 yards and 29 touchdowns in leading the Conquerors to their third straight state championship.
Defensive Player of the Year
DL Lamont McDougle, Sr., American Heritage (Delray)
In helping lead American Heritage back to the Class 3A state championship game with an impressive stat line of 93 tackles, 27 TFL, 15 sacks.
Coach of the Year
Mike Gregory, Tampa Catholic
After 3-7 season last year, Gregory got the Crusaders back on the right track taking them to a 10-3 record and a trip to the state semifinals before falling to eventual champion, Trinity Christian.

Most Valuable Player
RB Hussein Howe, Sr., University Christian
One of the best small school running backs rushing for 1,875 yards and 36 touchdowns while leading University Christian to the Class 2A state championship.
Offensive Player of the Year
QB Ivory Durham, So. Cedar Creek Christian
Durham was instruamental in leading Cedar Creek Christian to the school’s first playoff appearance ever by throwing for 2,453 yards and 26 touchdowns
Defensive Player of the Year
LB Jordan Weatherbee, So. Southwest Florida Christian
Weatherbee helped Southwest Florida Christian improve greatly this year by collecting 72 tackles, 17 sacks and one interception.
Coach of the Year
Bob Dare, Cambridge Christian
After going 8-2 and missing the playoffs last year, Dare led Cambridge Christian to the unthinkable by leading them to the first appearance in the state championship game in their first playoff appearance in school history.

Most Valuable Player
ATH Hamp Cheevers, Sr., Trenton
Trenton’s Mr. Do Everything, had 1,069 yards rushing on 94 carries, 21 TDs; 1,659 All-Purpose yards, 31 total TDs; 36 tackles, 7 INT, 10 pass deflects on defense.
Offensive Player of the Year
ATH Trey Sanders, Fr., Port St. Joe
For a freshmen, Sanders stats were through the roof with 1,063 yards rushing on 93 carries, 12 TDs; 9 catches for 226 yards, 3 TDs; 1532 All-Purpose yards; 4 INTs, 12 breakups on defense.
Defensive Player of the Year
DL Kevin Kegler, Jr., Madison County
In Madison County’s first year of being in Class 1A, Kegler helped the Cowboys defense shine when it needed to with 88 tackles, 22.5 TFL, 12 sacks.
Coach of the Year
Andrew Thomas, Trenton
Took Trenton back to the state championship game this season after seeing the Tigers fall out in the second round in 2014 with a team that will go down as the best Trenton team in school history with an undefeated record.
INDEPENDENT SUPERLATIVES
Most Valuable Player
QB A.J. Miller, Sr., Coral Springs Charter
Led Coral Springs Charter to 11-0 record and the Southeastern Football Conference title with 2,098 yards of passing for 33 touchdowns while only throwing 5 interceptions.
Offensive Player of the Year
WR C.J. Riley, Sr., North Broward Prep
Had an explosive season leading all receivers in the state of Florida with 75 catches for 1,724 yards, 26 TDs, while helping North Broward Prep remain competitive in the Gold Coast Football Conference.
Defensive Player of the Year
DL Joseph Savoia, Sr., St. Joseph
Savoia was everything for the Flashes collecting up 80 tackles, 14 sacks, 3 breakups, 1 FF, 3 block punts,; Averages 48.4 yards on kickoffs and 36.9 yards on punts
Coach of the Year
Billy Dickinson, Santa Fe Catholic
Lead the team from a 4-5 record to 11-0 record and winning the Sunshine State Athletic Conference title against some great competition inside the conference.
