Here is our the first FloridaHSFootball.com Media Compilation Poll of the 2016 season. The compilation poll takes a look at five sets of rankings that ranking teams in each of the eight classifications and ranks them based upon their rankings in these polls.
The five polls used are FloridaHSFootball.com’s Hybrid Rankings, the Associated Press Florida high school football poll, USA TODAY’s State Rankings, MaxPreps’s State Rankings and Joe Pinkos’ Power Ratings.
To make this a mathematically sound poll, a 1st place team in each poll received 20 points, 2nd place 18 points, 3rd place 16 points and down to the 10th place team receiving 2 points.
The media compilation poll will be released on Tuesday evenings each week during the season.
