PLAYOFFS: Margin of victory in first round games

With a couple of days to digest the results of the first round of the playoffs we decided to take a look at the margin of victory for all the games played.

For this, we consider a 21-point margin or more a blowout. Anything between 8-points margin of victory to 20 points margin of victory would be considered a decent game by most standards. However, a game that was determined by 7-points or less is considered as a close game.

When looking at the games from each classification you will see the score and then next to it will be the point difference between the two teams for the margin of victory.

As you might see, with the information here, you all might have a better understanding why the FHSAA is making changes to the playoff system starting next year, with strength of schedule being an important factor for all teams.
