The Skinny

This district is loaded with incredible and talented flag football teams that have shown they are here for a reason. East Bay has improved since the Capital City Classic and even knocking off defending district champion Bloomingdale on the way to claiming the top seed. Plant City lucked out on the No. 2 seed thanks to an overtime win over Bloomingdale. However, the biggest surprise in the tournament is Riverview which has been on a hot streak the last couple of weeks. That hot streak could be dangerous to the rest of the pack in the tournament. Whoever emerges from this district tournament as the champion will have earned it.
