The Skinny
My oh my have the mighty has fallen and that would be the case with Everglades which just a couple of years ago was a state semifinalist team, but has since slipped to the back of the pack. This year Cooper City and South Broward have dominated the district with Cooper City edging out South Broward during the season. Either of these two teams will represent the district well for the regional playoffs next week. Hollywood Hills, however, can play the role of the spoiler here as they have shocked a few teams along the way this season en route to the No. 3 seed.
