The Skinny
No surprises here as the Blue Darters once again are the top team in District 2A-2 this season. While Apopka has taken a couple of lumps this season, they are still by far the favorite to advance through the district. Spruce Creek, for getting a new head coach just weeks prior to the season starting was able to get through the district schedule with only a loss to Apopka to claim the No. 2 seed. DeLand and Flagler Palm Coast are the teams looking in at this point with hopes they can somehow pull off an upset or two.
