Coming with the No. 1 overall ranking in Class 8A and No. 10 overall in the state, the visiting Columbus Explorers (2-0) found a challenge from a hungry Osceola (Kissimmee) Kowboys (1-1) team.
And once again it was the Henry Parrish Jr. show for the Kowboys for the second straight week, rushing for 232 yards and two scores, according to the Orlando Sentinel after having 324 yards rushing and three touchdowns to open the season last week. That gives Parrish over 550 yards rushing in just the first two games this season.

While Columbus ruled in the first half, Osceola was the dominant team in the second half, but after a blocked field goal late in the game and nearly the entire field to drive for the winning score, the Kowboys came up short for the possible upset of the week.
Columbus goes for the field goal but the kick is blocked by the Osceola Kowboys! Explorers remain in the lead 21-17 with 3:56 left in the game, but Osceola has the ball. #CPride #Adelante #HSF #BeatOsceola #UTLFlorida @FlaHSFootball @FHSAA @HeraldSportsHS @FootballHotbed
