Congratulations to Dunnellon High School’s Offensive Linebacker Maxwell Valcius for being voted as scoutSMART’s first Florida High School Player of the Week!
The senior linebacker had a standout performance Friday, August 26, 2022, against Ocala West Port High School. He absolutely dominated the field with 5 tackles, 2 TFLs, 1 FF, and a blocked punt. Suffice to say this powerhouse senior OLB will be a player to watch this season.
Valcius received his first D1 offer from Stetson University in May of 2022. This summer he attended summer football training camps at major programs including the University of Florida and Florida State University.
Valcius received more than 21,500 votes this week, continue to vote for scoutSMART Florida Player of the Week to recognize your favorite players! Winners will be announced every Friday on scoutSmart’s Twitter.
