Here is our Class 2M recap report from Week 3:

TOP 10 RECAP

How They Fared: The Rockets bounced back from their close but stinging loss to Bishop Gorman in Week 2 as they edged out a very tough Booker T. Washington (Miami) 38-28 to get their first win of the season.

2. American Heritage (Plantation) (2-0)

How They Fared: The Patriots were off on Friday as they prepare to host Chaminade-Madonna this week.

3. Miami Norland (3-0)

How They Fared: The Vikings steamrolled 3M Miami Southridge 54-6 behind QB Ennio Yappor’s 321 yards passing and two touchdowns. CB Larry Tarver accounted for two interceptions for the Vikings in helping them to the victory to remain undefeated on the season.

How They Fared: Bouncing back from a huge defeat to Chaminade-Madonna last week, the Chiefs rolled to a 38-14 victory over 3M Dillard as QB Michael Merdinger was 19-of-34 passing with 221 yards passing and 4 touchdowns.

7. Tampa Catholic (1-1)

How They Fared: A 37-10 home loss is what the Crusaders is what happened on Friday night against visiting 1M Clearwater Central Catholic. The Crusaders’ defense was unable to keep Jershaun Newton contained as he racked up more than 250 yards total.

8. Raines (Jacksonville) (2-0)

How They Fared: The host Vikings took care of business against visiting 4M Sandalwood to stay undefeated on the season with a 26-7 victory.

9. Miami Edison (2-0)

How They Fared: The Red Raiders survived a scare from 3M North Miami at home to keep their record unblemished in the young season with a 21-19 victory over the Pioneers.

10. Bolles (Jacksonville) (0-3)

How They Fared: You have to go back into the 1980s to find the last time Bolles started a football season 0-3, and that is where the Bulldogs are at as they lost on the road up in Georgia to Coffee 17-9 in the Border Wars games in Brunswick.
