2025 GIRLS FLAG FOOTBALL RANKINGS
WEEK 6
Welcome to the fifth edition of the 2025 Girls Flag Football Rankings from FloridaHSFootball.com. With four weeks of the season over, the Florida Top 25 and the Classification Rankings are making some changes this week.
Now that we are through five weeks into the season and heading into our sixth week, there won’t be too many changes, with many programs taking spring break last week. however, with South Florida having been in action, we did have a couple of results to help shake up some things.
At this point, the final ranking will matter most; honestly, we learn and grow with our rankings each week. Let’s just say the game’s growth in Florida is impressive, and many programs strive for recognition.
Remember that our methodology has recently changed, and that a team ranked in the Next Five Out—Previously On The Bubble—is also eligible to be ranked in the Florida Top 25 going forward.
Also, to note, more recent wins and losses will weigh heavier than wins or losses from the start of the season at this point in the season. We understand some will point out that they beat this team earlier in the season. We want to remind everyone once more that it is not how a team starts; it is how they finish, and the progress during the season marks how a team could end up finishing.
We will update these rankings weekly and provide a Top 10 for each of the four classifications. We will also provide our Florida Top 25, which is the Top 25 teams in girls’ flag football, regardless of classification. To be considered for the Florida Top 25, teams must be ranked in the Top 10 of their classification or be in the Next Five Out in their classification.
