This clip is taken from a LIVE episode of The Florida HS Football Show.
During the show, Scott Jamison, FHSAA Associate Executive Director of Athletic Services, addressed the two major votes by the FHSAA Board of Directors that directly impact Florida high school football:
- The 11–1 vote to move the remaining Class Rural teams into Class 1A
- The 12–0 vote to enforce Independent School status policies for FHSAA member schools and create an FHSAA Independent League
In this segment, Jamison explains why the votes passed, how enforcement will work, and what schools should expect moving forward under the updated FHSAA structure.
