The future of girls flag football at Buchholz High School is looking bright as the Bobcats head into the 2026 season with new leadership and big goals.
Under first-year head coach Joe Tillman, Buchholz is building on the momentum of an 11–3 playoff season while laying the foundation for long-term success. Tillman brings a competitive mindset and a strong emphasis on development, discipline, and opportunity — highlighted by plans to launch the first Junior Varsity girls flag football team in Alachua County.
With standout players like Taylor Booth and Isabella Alexander returning, and a roster loaded with young talent, the Bobcats are embracing competition, accountability, and growth as they chase their first district championship.
Girls flag football continues to expand across Alachua County and the state of Florida, and Buchholz is positioning itself at the forefront of that movement — on and off the field.
🎥 Watch as Coach Tillman talks program growth, player development, and what’s next for Buchholz girls flag football as they prepare for the 2026 season and the Jaguars Girls Flag Football Preseason Classic.
