Several announcements have taken place this afternoon regarding coaching changes around the state. Here is the rundown:
Tate
Ronnie Douglas is hanging up the whistle after two seasons as the head coach at Tate in Cantoment the Pensacola News Journal reports. Douglas who is led the Aggies to the playoffs in both seasons as head coach took over in 2013 after a three-year stretch where the team only won four total games. Douglas led the Aggies to the regional semifinals after upsetting Lincoln in the regional quarterfinals.
No word as of now on when Tate expects to name a new head coach.
University School
Only two years removed since Roger Harriott last coached a game at University School, the Suns will now have their third head coach in as many seasons. However, according to Andre Fernandez at the Miami Herald, the name will be a familiar one to the school. Daniel Luque, a longtime assistant coach at the school was promoted to replace Brandon Harris who stepped down after only one season to focus on family needs. The announcement was made via Twitter by Fernandez.

Eagle’s View
Jerry Crafts’ coaching stop at Eagle’s View Academy in Jacksonville is officially over. According to Justin Barney at the Florida Times-Union. Former St. Joseph Academy head coach and former longtime Fleming Island and Eagle’s View assistant Frank Andrea has taken over as the head coach. Crafts went 6-4 overall in his only year at Eagle’s View Academy.
Frank Andrea is the new HSFB head coach at Eagle’s View, per AD Mike Graham. Replaces Jerry Crafts.

Frank Andrea’s last HC role was at St. Joseph in 2011; he was 7-13 in 2 seasons there. Was former Fleming Island and EVA assistant.
