    Sounds like you're just a Mainland hater. No one is ducking Dade County. The district that Mainland is in does not allow them to get the competition that they want week in and week out. Who's your team, sounds like you just hate it because your team can't beat Mainland. Besides there will still be South Florida teams in 8A. Going 7A or 8A will give them more competition right away besides the teams outside of their district.

    This is really not a true statement. This makes it sound like our success has come from all the recent transfers.

     

    Cyrus has been at Mainland since the end of his freshman year.

    Colubiale, Stokes, Wilson, and Mack have been at Mainland since end of Sophomore year. (Was on the team last season)

    McClosky and Jenkins transferred end of sophomore year, last summer

    They did not all transfer over this past summer. In my opinion this makes it sound like our success this season came from the transfers.

    Broward, I hear what you are saying and the pass was not meant to be a 37 yard td. The pass that was thrown was a tight end pop pass in which the sophomore tight end then broke three tackles and scored. As for throwing the ball, if a team is blitzing both backers up the middle then do you allow their starting linebackers to tee off on your young back-up running back. We threw two passes the second half, the te pop pass and a stop to a receiver. We didn't just come out and sling it deep. If a starting defense can't stop your jv offense then you just take knees and deprive those young kids the chance to play?

  16. Ucf football camp

    The camp was good and Columbia looked really good. They went toe to toe with both Mainland and Armwood. They never beat Mainland in full team team out of three tries but were within 1-2 scores each  session. They did beat Mainland in one of the three 7 on 7 sessions though. They outplayed Armwood the entire weekend because Armwood has a new transfer QB that had only been there for 3 days. Lake city will be fine just have to sure up a few things in their defensive backfield. They had a receiver that looked really good and the running back is a beast. The QB made a few bad decisions but overall looked good.
