I don’t know Garcia’s schedule but those district games have to be made up or 1 team will forfeit. Dillard will probably be doubling up those two games, but your backups, backups will be playing with a running clock
-
There’s a shortage of officials, so they play some games on Thursday so all games can be played for the week. A lot of refs double up football games. It’s a lot WORSE during basketball season. JV games are usually Tuesday/Wednesday.
-
Palm Beach will usually reschedule for a Monday if they don’t have the same bye week. Since Suncoast and Garcia are district games and affect the playoffs, they will be made up. Pahokee has to make up Forest Hill (Hurricane Helene) and now Clewiston (Hurricane Milton). Depending on the damage Zephryhills Christian gets, don’t know how that will go for next week. Non-district games don’t have to be made up, they are usually up to the schools
-
Pahokee had about 15 players suspended (7 defensive starters) for that game. Their best player was suspended as well. Backup RB (#2 is the third back), backup QB. That’s why #5 and #0 played the entire game (offense, defense, and special teams). I think the team needed that game to refocus. #4, 3, 13, 80, and 81 was their first time playing defense ever

Maybe, by these kids are gonna test that theory
-
Thanks

15-0, final. Pahokee had 1 more chance to score but the WR fumbled diving for the end zone. They played well, considering they were missing 10+ key players. On to Friday at Forest Hill
-
15-0. Pahokee after 3
-
15-0. Pahokee at the half after a field goal. 6 starters out on defense and some key backups, Pahokee is playing well
-
12-0. Pahokee scores on a 60 yard pass, the 2 point failed. 7:22 left in the second
-
The entire secondary is out
-
6-0. Pahokee scores on a 25 yard pass, kick was blocked 28 seconds left in the first. Pahokee is missing about 6 starters 3 of the 4 starting DBs
-
This should be INTERESTING tonight, because Pahokee might have about 20 players dressed tonight because of suspensions (fight at school) and going to Glades Central homecoming (there was almost an altercation last year with the football players) so the Pahokee coaches were trying to prevent anything from happening…but this generation of kids don’t think CONSEQUENCES apply to them.
-
Late 90s early 2000s they were on par, same with Pahokee’s band used to be 200+ members. Pahokee, Glades Central, Suncoast, and Palm Beach Lakes were the “black bands” but I see things have DRASTICALLY changed since then Palm Beach County just closed schools for tomorrow
-
Suncoast used to have a band that would match Dillards, but we haven’t played them in over 10+ years so I don’t know how they are bow
-
The Gardens game was moved to Pahokee (last I heard), for next Monday. Food options are limited but Hooks and there’s a food truck across from Hooks are the top grab and go options in Pahokee. Dixie Fried is always a go to option
-
As of now, Palm Beach County hasn’t closed schools or cancelled any games for tomorrow.
-
Hopefully, this weeks game doesn’t get canceled. We already have two games next week. Monday (Palm Beach Gardens, they had issues with their lights last week) and then a game that Friday. That would mean two weeks with two games
-
Shouldn’t be hard. You guys should put a running clock on everyone in the district
-
Pahokee lost 43-8. They couldn’t handle the physicality of the Newman run game and the offense couldn’t sustain drives to keep the defense fresh. On to the next one.
-
When the schedule was released I predicted this would a loss for Pahokee because they only returned 2 starters on offense and 4 on defense, I thought the lack of playing time/experience would be a factor. I think Newman has a CLEAR ADVANTAGE on the OL & DL (they don’t play both ways) size/strength wise, so that’s how I think they win. Skill players/QB are about even to me. Pahokee is banged up on the OL, and the 1 retuning starter from last year will be out. The Pahokee defense is giving up 8 points per game and held Palm Beach Central to 14, so I think they can keep it close if the offense isn’t turning the ball over or having to many 3 and outs. This should be a good test to see where the team is at and hopefully they can come out healthy.

Ok. I thought he was the Arkansas commit.
-
He’s played in all 3 regular season games and the 1 preseason game
-
Palm Beach Central, SR, Waden Charles (Arkansas commit) transfers to Somerset Canyons this week. Will he be eligible to play the remainder of the season? Moore Haven had a QB transfer after week 3, a few seasons ago and was allowed to play. Is this a new thing now, because I dont think this has ever happened in Palm Beach County
