WELL, if our new coach is anything like the PREVIOUS ONE! We'll be rotating sixty players in the FIRST QUARTER! And from what I hear, he likes to play offense, like his hair is on fire!

SOOOOOO, I wonder why our resident guru, Colombia County fan, is laughing at the Colquitt-Trinity matchup? Is he perhaps, naive enough to play into the, it don't matter the size of the school bull? Unlike Florida, where transfers are an everyday occurrence in order to compete! Size DOES matter in Georgia!

WHY would you say that? I don't need no stinking strokes! But as my wise ole grandma use ta say! "Lil Rabid, iffin ya kin DO IT, it AIN'T braggin!" As an aside, you don't know half of what we got a cookin in Moultrie, Georgia! But just a taste of it is, that USA Olympic diving teams, as well as several other country's teams, trained at OUR diving facility, for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta! We've had male and female divers, who teamed with all of the major SEC and ACC diving teams, for the past three decades!

What does being public hafta do with anything? Facilities are facilities! It's just depending upon how much interest you have in your program! I doubt if there is a complex in the mighty BNU or the mighty Trinity League, that rival the best in GHSA AAAA, much less the upper classifications! Our new DC coached in Florida for about ten years! And he says that Georgia takes their football MUCH more seriously than Florida, on so many levels!(fan support, facilities, participation, and coaching salaries, to name a few) As an aside, I doubt if you know ANYTHING about Colquitt county athletics, in toto!

I've had folks tell me that they don't draw a coupla hundred fans!

I would think that it is a similar situation to MANY metro counties in Georgia! Exhibit A would be Gwinnett county, population 900,000 and growing! There are probably 25-30 high schools in the county! But it seems as though it is ALWAYS the same five or six, who are in the mix for a state title!(And they routinely brag of having the greatest feeder system in the country) So, you would think that the LUUUUV would be spread out! MY contention, that it may be the same in Hillsborough county, as it is in Gwinnett! That a majority of the talent, perennially congregates at those same schools! As an aside, talent helps, but isn't always a major contributor as to who has the powerhouse programs in a given area. Take Atlanta metro for example! It is one of the three of four hotbeds for high school athletes in the country.(Dekalb, Fulton, Cobb, Clayton, Henry, Rockdale, and Forsyth counties) Yet RARELY, do Atlanta metro teams win state titles! Gwinnett county is the exception, with the likes of Brookwood, Parkview, Archer, Grayson, North Gwinnett, and Norcross!

Money skills, to my knowledge, have NEVER been taught IN SCHOOL! Those skills were learned my yours truly, by working after school, on weekends, and in the summer! You find out pretty quickly, that money DOESN'T, in fact, grow on trees! And you learn the value of a buck, and how to stretch it to meet yours, or your family's financial obligations. There is NO SUBSTITUTE for experience!

Which high school kicker have you seen, who could compete for a job in the NFL? We had one of the top kickers in the country last season! And he got ONE major college offer, to FSU!

The hungry playas shoulda played for Colquitt county! And except in few instances, a 21st Century college degree, is WORTHLESS! Today's professors don't educate a student for gainful employment!

The 2015 National Champion, Colquitt County Packers! A team who has been to the BIG BOY LEAGUE finals, four out of the past five seasons, losing two by a total of three points! But we DO give you Sunshine boys your just due! We will NOT take you lightly!

Then, if they are HUGE, they MAY get tired of running from sideline to sideline! Do you suppose they are any more talented than 2018 Grayson, who had two major DI backups? The two most talented teams in our state,(Grayson and Marietta)didn't make it to the QUARTERfinals!

NINTH GRADE, REALLY? Try FIRST grade for HOG AIR!

I wish them well, trying to cover Lemeke Brockington, Carter Boatright, J. Shealey, Tajh Sanders, or Montavious Ponder, with a LBER!

A private school in JAX even being IN a classification, is a HOOT!

Are we inferring TRANSFERITIS? We are just a lil rural school in the middle of nowhere, just trying to get along, after our coach was railroaded outta town!

WE are havin to break in a new coach, who SAYS we played TOO SLOW in the past! SAAAY WHAAT? This dude MUST be the second coming of Mike Leach!

How WELL I know! Of the other Florida teams we've played, I believed that all were under the enrollment size of our current 7A! But they weren't your run of the mill Florida teams EITHER!
