  1. The Southwest Florida Preseason Top 10 rankings are out and the #1 team might be a bit of a surprise to some, but the area can change from year to year. Should we expect anything to stay the same? Share you thoughts below once you view the rankings LINK: http://flhsfb.us/1yGbaIO
  2. It was tough to decide the #1 team considering all top three teams are very likely worthy of the ranking. Check out the full set of rankings at the link below and share your thoughts here! LINK: http://flhsfb.us/1yEWgSW
  3. The East Coast Preseason Top 10 and the #1 team is no stranger to being at the top. Discuss your thoughts on the East Coast Preseason Top 10 here after you view them. LINK: http://flhsfb.us/1l7eonY

  7. Some issues under the stands that might need to be taken out and replaced. Sounds like corrosion if you ask me since most of the stuff used for the stands these days is metal. And yes, Plant will win this one no matter where you place it at I think also.
  8. The Tampa Tribune has reported that Robinson's first home game against rival Plant will no longer played at home on September 5th (Week 2). The reason? Bleacher repairs needed at Jack Peters Field. The unexpected repairs will make the stadium unusable for the Knights first home game on September 5th. In this case the county has move the game to Dad's Stadium at Plant High School. Robinson's first home game will now come on September 19th (Week 4). Read more here from the Tampa Tribune: http://tbo.com/sports/preps/stadium-issues-at-robinson-20140807/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+tbo%2Fpreps+%28TBO+%3E+Prep+Sports%29
  9. Small school news.... Imagine School of North Port is cutting football after not having enough players show up for opening practices. First reported by the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, the school has undergone a lot of changes over the last year including changing head coaches and dropping out of district play. You can read more here: http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/08/07/imagine-school-north-port-eliminating-football/
  10. Well I am back now... After a month of making a move (the process of how it was done was annoying, but I had no choice). I am now living in Gainesville (which honestly is a lot better for me) and I couldn't be happier. I have published an open letter and it explains more what is going on and what is to come for the season. If you got any questions just let me know LINK: http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/08/06/open-letter-friends-fans-followers-publisher-joshua-wilson/
  11. This is a great story and very interesting. Things are changing and some are not for the good. Thanks for sharing this!
  12. I am in the process of moving (personally and business) and you will see me hop on and off sporadically until my move is done. Once it is done, things are going to start improving big time. Just wanted to throw an update to you guys. Thanks!
  13. Nope....i will post a little bit more on it here. Going to be working Scorestream this year to provide everyone with real time score updates. Fans will be able to help score games as well using their app. I am working on going through their system now getting the lay of the land and get all the games entered for the season, but this will be huge for us and best of all it cost nothing for anyone to use it. I will post more details how this will all work in the next week or so.
  14. Guys....I will have some important news coming soon on a couple of things. I am pretty excited between both pieces of news, but one of them is going to be big. I should have more to announce this afternoon once I get done with a conference call.
  15. The magazine can be purchased for $6.95 plus Shipping & Handling on the website itself. You don't have to buy a subscription to just get the magazine. But look at it this way...they yearly rate is an incentative to most. All you have to do is pay once a year and when you look at the monthly breakdown for the first year at the special rate, it averages to $3.33 per month and is cheaper than a Starbucks cup of coffee. Even at the regular rate of $49.99 (which is what it will go back to on September 1st) the breakdown is $4.17 per month. In reality we are cheaper than any network site and we can do it this way because we have the freedom to do so. I can't just take the stuff from the magazine and post on here because that would be copyright infringement and out of the great working relationship we have with A.E. Engine, publishers of FNF, I will not jeopardize that relationship.
  16. We will see what happens with this, but some of the coaches think Booth could have better success at Manatee. Bloomingdale was never a team that would be a serious contender in the Tampa-area anyways. For what he did by going 6-4 after a winless season in 2012, speaks that he can turn things around if he has the right tools. As for what John Limbo had in his article, it sounds like Kinnan's days of being a head coach are truly over and if he comes back, it will be as an assistant only.
  17. That is what the FNF 2014 Magazine is part for and why we partnered with them! The preseason material we are posting now is to complement what cannot fit into the magazine due to space consideration. That is why we are offering the special yearly MVP rate for $39.99 that includes a FREE FNF Magazine. You will get the best of both worlds in this case.
  18. IMG is a tough cookie to get a win against, but I see at no worst 7-3 and likely district champions. 8-2 is more like it, but 9-1, 10-0 could be thin ice for me to walk on right now. Ask me in a few weeks when we are closer to putting out the Broward previews.
  19. LINK: http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/06/26/2014-preview-guide-panhandle-preseason-top-10-rankings/ Share your thoughts with us on the rankings. Do you agree with the teams in the rankings? Do you agree who is Number 1? Let us know how we did!
  20. Also throw in Port St. Joe into the mix as well....going to be another great year for 1A football.
  21. The All-Panhandle Preseason Elite Team is out Let us know your thoughts here LINK: http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/06/25/2014-preview-guide-panhandle-preseason-elite-team/
  22. I like this so far, but Trenton is 1A....did you mean Trinity Christian for 3A or another team?
  23. Time to see what you are thinking here....who do you think has the best chance to make that drive on the Road To Orlando to play for a state championship this season? Share your thoughts and why. Best response determined on here will get a FREE 2014 FNF Magazine! Last day to share your thoughts and comments is Saturday, July 5th! (NOTE: Thoughts and comments must be shared on here. Twitter or Facebook replies will not count and be honored)
  24. This is actually the third article in what will be many preview articles to come for the rest of the summer. This one talks about some of the biggest rivalries in the Panhandle that Corey Davis came up with. Check it out and discuss your thoughts here http://floridahsfootball.com/2014/06/24/2014-preview-guide-top-panhandle-rivalries/
  25. Nope...and the FHSAA has to play all games at one stadium. Contracts spell that out.
