  4. Well from the pictures I have seen from the Girls Basketball Finals in Lakeland, they can fill the stands up nicely. However for football we can't even draw a decent crowd (10,000 plus). This is ridiculous to see this happening. Alright folks your turn to put your two cents in. Suggestions for improvements can even be dropped because some how, some way we should see more fans in the stands.
  5. Former coach Eddie Shannon of Lincoln and Manatee high schools in Manatee County is being honored for his coaching efforts after getting elected into the FHSAA Hall of Fame. Immokalee CB Mackensie Alexander who has been verbally committed to Tennessee now for the past couple of weeks now is holding a verbal offer from Alabama after he talk to Nick Saban, sources close to the Immokalee football program have told FloridaHSFootball.com. Is it possible that Alexander will flip after we were told that Saban's offer to Alexander was very convincing? We will keep a watch to see what happens.
  8. Trinity Catholic has finally filled the slot. They will play at Sarasota Booker on Week 8 now, per Celtics defensive coordinator Justin Wentworth.

  10. Big County Preps held its third annual Ignite Elite combine over the weekend and there was tons of talent that came out and showed out. Take a look at the MVP list that is by position and get familiar with the names as we will be hearing more about them in the coming months.   11. USF has apparently already looking to get a jump start on the 2014 class with LT Corey Martinez getting his first verbal offer.   18. They do have all of that, but Admiral Farragut has some talent that whipped up on Glades Day. It will be an exciting game to watch!
