28 of the nation’s best college football punters were identified this morning when the Ray Guy Award watch list for the upcoming season was released, which included three athletes who call Florida home.
The Ray Guy Award, which has been presented annually since 2000, is awarded to the college punter of the year by the Augusta Sports Council. The award is named after Ray Guy, a former All-American at Southern Miss and also an all-pro player for the Oakland Raiders.
Former Tallahassee Lincoln punter, Mark Mariscal (Colorado) is the only former high school athlete from Florida to have won the Ray Guy award.
Here are the athletes from Florida that made the watch list.
