After Hurricane Matthew made a trek up the east coast of Florida late last week, there are still plenty of areas that are cleaning up from the mess left behind.
And that has come with some good deeds from many directions.
Part of the good deeds included some help from our neighbors to the north in Georgia, where 45 players from Lanier County High’s football team helped with the cleanup efforts near Middleburg in Clay County, just south of Jacksonville.

There was an even a lesson on how to tell the age of a tree during the cleanup.

And just up the road in Orange Park, Ridgeview High’s baseball team contributed to the cleanup effort near the school to help get things ready for when everyone returns to school tomorrow.
