BRADENTON | If you love a challenging game of football, you will be in luck, that is if you are a fan of the Manatee Hurricanes.
It was announced on Thursday that Manatee would be playing two out-of-state opponents that are both nationally known for having superior teams in the likes that Manatee has.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported that the Hurricanes would play Friendship Collegiate Academy of Washington D.C., at home, on Saturday, September 1, which is Week 1 of the 2012 season, while Week 3 has the team going to play Skyline High of Sammamish, Wa.
Both games are slated to be shown on one of the ESPN networks, but contacts at the time of release were still in final negotiations, head coach Joe Kinnan told the Herald-Tribune.
