FORT LAUDERDALE – On Monday, the Michigan State Spartans added their latest commitment to their 2014 class.
That newest member would be St. Thomas Aquinas running back Madre London. The six-foot-one 205-pound back had a top five of Michigan State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, and Illinois. In the end he chose the Spartans.
“The fans were good to me. The school in general I liked a lot. The coaches were very good and they were very honest and very down to earth and funny. It was like another St. Thomas Aquinas coaching staff.” said London.
London’s official visit to East Lansing on the weekend of October 11 for the Indiana game.
“It’s hard to explain. It’s just the Big 10 in general. Definitely one of the best crowds in he nation. I just wish I would have went to the Michigan vs. Michigan State game.” said London
Madre and the St. Thomas Aquinas Raiders clinched their district championship this past week over Plantation.
“My goals for the rest of the year is to get invited to an All-American game, I feel I am really close to being invited to one. I just want to be the best I can be and help my team win the state championship.” said London
Madre London has rushed for 679 yards and 12 touchdowns so far through nine games.
