Question & Answer

Q: Who did you receive your first offer from?
A: I received my first offer during my freshman year. I threw a last second touchdown to win the Gateway Conference championship to Chris Black, winning 35-34 over Ed White HS. Clemson was in attendance and offered me on the spot.

Q: What is the most important thing you look for in a school?
A: In a school I look for great academics to challenge me, graduation rate, great coaching staff, also, a place where I can see myself productive and happy after football season.

Q: What is a hidden talent you have that people don’t know you are able to do?
A: I am a great judge of character and I have the spirit of discernment, I am also a fast learner and I was a great basketball player.

Q: What is on your pregame playlist?
A: Aloe Blacc- I am the man, motivational speaker Eric Thomas, Ray Lewis, and texts that my father, mother and Cecil Rellford send me.

Q: In 3-4 years where do you see yourself?
A: I see myself having a successful college career transitioning to a successful NFL career. If not I will want to stay around the game for a little bit being a college coach before applying the career I majored in.

Q: What do you plan on studying in college?
A: I can see myself studying computer science, communications, or business management.

Q: When did you have that moment where you knew you had the talent to play at an elite level in college?
A: 8th grade year when working with my middle school coach at Landmark middle school, Coach Foy, who installed the work ethic in me. Cecil Rellford who took me to the next level mentally, and physically who taught me everything I know about football and life, which made me mature at a young age. To putting the mind set in me to be able to compete with anybody!

Q: Who do you model your game after?
A: I believe I have similar qualities as Russell Wilson, Drew Brees, and Aaron Rodgers.

Q: Growing up what college football team were you a fan of?
A: It’s funny but I grew up as a Miami fan when I first moved to Florida thanks to my God-dad Mike Johnson lol. Then I was a gator fan through the Tebow dynasty.

Q: What is your favorite movie
A: Friday Night Lights.

Q: If you could meet any celebrity who would you pick?
A: President Barack Obama, John Wooden, and Todd Durkins.

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: In my spare time I like to lift weights, I love to travel, and spend time with family.

Q: What is your favorite quote?
A: “I am a living witness that if you are brave enough to dream it, it can happen! You have to be determined… You’re not going to stop, you’re not going to quit, you’re not going to give up until you make your dream a reality!” – Eric Thomas
