Top 5 Games To Watch
Friday
Miami Carol City (1-1) at No. 1 Lakeland (2-0): Miami Carol City is one of the top five teams in Miami and should give Lakeland a solid test that will prepare the Dreadnaughts come playoff time.
Miami Sunset (1-1) vs. South Miami (0-2) at Tropical Park: This is a District 7A-16 game and this will likely decide a few things about the district including the most important thing – playoff positioning.
Columbus (2-0) vs. Miami Southridge (2-0) at Southridge: Columbus will need to pull out a defensive stop while putting up some better offensive numbers as Miami Southridge looks like a stronger team than thought so far.
Miami Norland (2-0) vs. South Dade (2-0) at Harris: Miami Norland is going to bring in its defense to compete against a South Dade offense that can score points quickly. Could go either way.
Saturday
First Coast (0-1) vs. No. 1 Miami Central (1-1) at Traz Powell Stadium: Miami Central is looking to keep the bounce back going after defeating Miami Killian 35-0 last week. First Coast is looking to bounce back after losing to Gainesville last week.
