Top 5 Games To Watch
Friday
Boyd Anderson (2-0) at Coconut Creek (1-1): A good matchup for both teams as they look to make a statement Broward County. Boyd Anderson has been a surprise, while Coconut Creek’s offensive line gave up too many sacks last week against Flanagan.
Dillard (1-1) at Lake Gibson (0-2): Dillard could make a statement in this game by defeating what is suppose to be a talented Lake Gibson team. Lake Gibson has already fallen to Kathleen and Winter Haven to start the season.
St. Thomas Aquinas (2-0) at South Plantation (2-0): Former district rivals are going at it once again in the rivalry series, but St. Thomas is certainly the better team here in this one.
Deerfield Beach (1-0) at Blanche Ely (0-2): Ely will try to get something started by looking to knockoff Deerfield Beach in this rivalry. This game though will tell us more about each as we get deepe into the season.
Miami Norhtwestern (1-1) at Plantation American Heritage (1-1): Miami Northwestern has come alive with a stout defense under first-year head coach Max Edwards and they will put that to the test against a Patriots team that lost by one-point to DeMatha Catholic last week.
