With the win, the Raiders improved to 3-0 and won their 10th consecutive game over the Colonels.

Plantation’s lone first-half touchdown came when Rock Johnston returned a second-quarter interception 56 yards. However, Bruce returned the ensuing kickoff 89 yards for a touchdown. Frank Coppet also added a touchdown on a 23-yard interception return.

The Colonels (2-1) closed the gap a bit in the second half as Johnson ran in a 13-yard touchdown and Plantation recovered a blocked punt in the end zone for another touchdown.
