Here are FloridaHSFootball.com’s Class 7A Rankings after Week 3. Ranking, team name, record and previous rank included for each team.

Below the Top 10 are the regional rankings for Class 7A, showing you how teams are ranked in each of the four designated FHSAA regions.

Class 7A Top 10

1. St. Thomas Aquinas, 3-0, 1
Week 3: Defeated Miramar, 48-14.
This Week: vs. Cypress Bay
Comment: Another game, another win for a dominant St. Thomas Aquinas team that leads the series 12-5 now versus Plantation. Will come back home this week to face off against Cypress Bay.

2. Dwyer, 2-0, 4
Week
3: Defeated Palm Beach Central, 21-20.
This Week: at Palm Beach Lakes
Comment: Panthers won a 21-0 weather shortened game over Palm Beach Central and will now turn their focus to Palm Beach Lakes to open up district play in District 7A-13.

3. Oakleaf, 3-0, 2
Week 3: Defeated Orange Park, 44-7.
This Week: vs. Buchholz
Comment: Traveled up to Wayne County and slipped out with a 14-5 grueling victory. Some have question if things are a little bit off for the Knights. We will get better answers when they host Buchholz this week, a team that gave Columbia a run for their money last week.

4. Braden River, 3-0, 5
Week 3: Defeated Ida Baker, 42-14
This Week: vs. Lakewood Ranch
Comment: Another week, another big win for Braden River before the start of district play this week. They will take on Lakewood Ranch to open up District 7A-11 play.

5. Venice, 3-0, 6
Week 3: Defeated Riverview (Sarasota), 21-10
This Week: vs. North Port
Comment: Had to battle with a scrappy Sarasota Riverview team, but the defense pulled out for a win over their in-county rival. Will open up District 7A-11 play against North Port this week.

6. Plant, 2-1, 7
Week 3: Defeated Robinson, 30-12
This Week: at Leto
Comment: Easily handled rival Robinson and has bounced back nicely since the loss to Colquitt County, Ga. Week 1. Should have an easy time this week when they travel to Leto to start district play.

7. Winter Haven, 3-0, 9
Week 3: Defeated Ridge Community, 28-8
This Week: vs. Osceola (Kissimmee)
Comment: The Blue Devils keep on pushing as a team and have already pushed past one test in Lake Gibson, but will get bigger challenge with Kissimmee Osceola coming into town this week.

8. South Fort Myers, 3-0, 8
Week 3: Defeated Lehigh, 34-3
This Week: at Fort Myers
Comment: The Wolfpack handled business on the road at Lehigh last week and will head over to Fort Myers to take on their rival in the Green Wave in non-district action.

9. Columbia, 3-0, 10
Week 2: Defeated Buchholz, 39-27
This Week: at Robert E. Lee
Comment: Columbia played tough against a very much improved Buchholz team. The Tigers will head out on the road this week to take on a Robert E. Lee team that could either be much improved or could be an easy win for the Tigers.

10. Lakeland, 2-1, 3
Week 3: Lost to Miami Carol City 44-34.
This Week: vs. Fort Lauderale at Bryant Stadium
Comment: This past week was a trying time for the Dreadnaughts and took a beating early by the Carol City Chiefs before bouncing back in a come back attempt that came up short. The Dreadnaughts will look to bounce back this week against Fort Lauderdale.
